This much touted update is horrible, and even worse on an iPad.  For a start... the teal green display... which for the colour blind must make the app so much more enjoyable,   iPad users can not share photos from their libraries and are stuck with small text fonts, despite what ever setting your device is using.  The display of group joins, blends so well into normal chat that room staff can often miss people joining.  actions also become lost within the now uniform teal display.  You can no long customise your colours, only your background and only then if you pay.  This is a classic excample of an popular app that now tells its users what that want instead of listening to them.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it! This upgrade is awful! I wouldn't suggest upgrading, if you haven't already! You can't see at a glance if you have messages from other friends! 
It likes to be oriented to portrait, and so if you are using landscape in another program, it has to swivel first!!
It is hard to go back through the history, in fact, I could only go back an hour! So missed vital information!
Please go back to old version Palringo!!!!
