Nach Update geht nichts mehr, kein Schreiben , selbst bearbeiten und alles ist gesperrt lässt sich nicht öffnen. Ab jetzt ist es komplett Schrott.

Heute Schrott. Unsere Gruppen sind, oder werden alle auf Messenger, oder WhatsApp umziehen. 
Mit jedem Update immer komplizierter und unübersichtlicher zu bedienen. 
Seit dem Wechsel von palringo zu Wolf eine einzige Katastrophe. 
Ständig Login Probleme, private Nachrichten kommen teilweise nicht an. Manche Markierungen und Tools zur Bildbearbeitung trotz Premium Account nicht mehr möglich. 
Alles in allem nur noch ein Schatten von damals und eher ein schlechter Witz, als eine gute App zum chatten. Normal hätte ich gar keinen Stern gegeben, aber das ist ja nicht möglich.

Palringo soll eine Alternative zu Whatsapp darstellen und versucht dies, der jüngeren Generation durch Einbindung von Games attraktiver zu machen. Für mich sind diese Games völlig uninteressant. Möchte ich spielen, lade ich mir ein Spiel herunter und keinen Messenger mit Games, die integriert sind.

Aber ist ja auch egal. 
Palringo funktioniert kein bisschen wie Whatsapp:

1.) Push-Benachrichtigungen:
Palringo verfügt ohne ein Upgrade auf ein Premium-Paket über keine ständigen Benachrichtigungen. Man muss sich alle paar Stunden mal einloggen, um 'aktiv' zu bleiben und Push-Benachrichtigungen zu erhalten, aber diese beinhalten nicht die Nachricht sondern nur den Hinweis, dass eine Nachricht vorliegt. Um diese zu sehen, muss man sich als Nicht-Premium-Nutzer dann einloggen und die Nachricht abrufen. 
Also: ohne öffnen der App gibt es auch manchmal keine Nachrichten mehr. 
Ebenso kann es sein, dass man in einem Gruppenchat hunderte Nachrichten erhält, die App öffnet und dann sind nicht alle hundert Nachrichten präsent sondern man muss alle durch ein Tippen auf einen Balken nachladen. Es sind nur 5 gleichzeitig fertig geladen. Und zwar die neuesten 5. Möchte ich also sehen, was derjenige vor 30 Minuten z.B. schrieb, darf ich den elenden Nachlade-Button antippen. 

2.) Klingeltöne
Klingeltöne kann man in den Palringo Einstellungen anpassen aber es ändert sich nichts. Der Standard Dreiklang-Ton von apple ertönt, obwohl ich einen anderen ausgewählt habe.

3.) Punkte sammeln
Palringo setzt auf ein System, bei dem die Nutzer in verschiedene Level unterteilt werden. Man steigt im Level an, wenn man oft online ist, tausende Nachrichten verschickt und was weiß ich nicht alles macht. Wozu? Keine Ahnung. 

Durch Verfassen dieser Rezension habe ich die Bewertung sogar von 3* auf 2* geändert. Es ist ein unreifes Produkt, das nur gegen Bezahlung besser wird. Warum sollte ich diesen Messenger also anderen Gratis-Messengern vorziehen, die trotz kostenlosem Angebot einen vollen Funktionsumfang haben?

Lasst lieber die Finger davon! Ständig gibt es Abstürze, es hängt mal oder funktioniert nicht, wie es soll. Palringo könnte zum Synonym für Bugs und Abstürze werden.

Hier gibt es eindeutig bessere Alternativen.

Wenn man mit mehr als 8 Leuten in Gruppen sprechen will ist die App perfekt. Zugang lässt dich gut verwalten und die Organisation funktioniert gut und übersichtlich. Es gibt allerhand Extras gegen Langeweile. Die App läuft stabil. Schön wäre es, wenn man nicht nur Fotos sondern auch Videos hochladen könnte (ohne einen Filesharing zu nutzen). Nur 4 Sterne, weil wir mit den letzten Updates auf die diversen Statusanzeigen verzichten mussten! (away, busy, online, offline)
