Description

Wolow is a wake on LAN app that allows you to remotely start up a computer by sending a "magic packet" request.

Simply add a device configuration inside the app, select the device you would like to start up and then press the power button and as long as your configuration is correct you can watch your computer startup.

Wake on LAN is a network protocol that is supported by the majority of Ethernet cards available. Before using the app ensure your computer is fully configured to work with the wake on LAN protocol. A guide on how to set up your computer can be found within the app at the bottom.

Un cero patatero

It doesn't wake the computer

I set up wake on LAN on my windows 11 computer, I installed the companion app, paid the 1.99 and I'm able to send my computer to sleep with the app but not to wake it up, which is the main reason for me installing and paying for this app. Also the widget keeps asking me to select a device even though I have already selected my computer so it's useless as well. I'm gonna have to ask for a refund Update: wake-on-LAN is working now after using ethernet connection on my computer. The widget also got fixed eventually, although every time I change it it goes back to "select devices" for a long time or until you restart the phone. Also the sleep, shutdown, etc. buttons on the widget are tiny and difficult to press, it'd be great if you could select which buttons you need so they could be bigger (sleep and wake would be enough for me). Anyway, at least it's working now so I'm giving it 4 stars.
