## Wonderwake Description
Wake up without the jolt. Wonderwake is a gentle alarm clock built for better sleep and a slower rise - fade-in nature sounds, no cortisol spike, no panic. Rest easy knowing your gentle wake-up is automatically backed up by your iPhone’s system alarm, so you won’t oversleep.

Bring the same gentleness to the rest of your day with a power nap timer, circadian rhythm insights and sleep tracking.

Standard alarms force your body awake with a shock. The adrenaline fades, but the grogginess - sleep inertia - lingers for hours. You reach for coffee before you've had a moment. The day starts before you're ready for it.

Wonderwake dissolves that pattern. Volume rises so slowly you barely notice it's happening. Sound grows into your morning instead of tearing you out of sleep.

HOW IT WAKES YOU

- Fade-in alarm: choose how gradually volume rises and create a sunrise-style effect as gentle sound fills the room
- Nature sounds and calming melodies: birdsong at dawn, rain on leaves, ocean waves, ambient chimes, and more
- Smart backup: a loud iPhone system alarm sounds at your set time if gentle sounds haven't woken you, so you won't oversleep
- Alarm shuffle: a different gentle sound each morning so your brain never tunes it out
- Custom alarm sounds: import your own audio for a more personal wake-up
- Sunrise alarm & wake-up light: turn your smart lamp into a sunrise alarm. Wake up to gradually brightening light and calming sounds for a gentler morning. Works with compatible Apple HomeKit lamps and bulbs.

YOUR DAY, YOUR RHYTHM

- Circadian rhythm & body clock: explore your likely energy peaks and dips throughout the day, with guidance on when to focus, rest and wind down
- Power nap timer: a second clock mode for daytime rest. Choose a quick 20-minute nap or a longer break, and see how your duration aligns with estimated sleep cycles
- Quiet Hours: block the apps you keep doomscrolling, from social feeds to endless videos. Schedule a break for bedtime, focused work or a calmer morning
- Dream journal: save your dreams and morning reflections
- Ready in under a minute: no account, no onboarding, open and set your alarm
- Sleep cycle alarm: enter your sleep goal, Wonderwake finds the ideal wake-up window based on your cycles
- Sleep schedule coach: find your bedtime window with Sleep Gate and build consistent bedtimes and wake times, week by week
- Sleep tracking & sleep debt: explore your sleep history and estimated sleep debt using Apple Health data from compatible wearables, or Phone Motion estimates without a watch
- Lock Screen and Dynamic Island live activity for at-a-glance alarm status
- Privacy built in: your data is protected, no hidden sharing

WHO IT'S FOR

You've tried every alarm app and still wake up tense. You're building a slow morning ritual - maybe a 5am start, a meditation alarm, a mindfulness practice before the noise begins - and a single jarring alarm undoes all of it. You're a light sleeper and the wrong sound at the wrong moment ruins your whole night.

You hit snooze four times, not because you're lazy, but because waking always feels like an emergency. You're sensitive to sound and a standard alarm leaves you with a headache or anxiety before the day has even started. You have ADHD and sensory shock from a loud alarm sets the wrong tone for everything that follows.

WHAT USERS SAY

"The best wake up alarm, period." - The_next_big_thing (AU)
"Every morning I get the sound of nature easing me out of sleep and it works every time. The volume is gradual and won't leave you in a panic." - Halliba (UK)
"This app fits all my needs and gently wakes me up whenever needed. Well designed UI is just a cherry on top." - Deniz Ozmaden (US)

Try it free for 7 days. No payment required.

Your morning doesn't have to start with a shock.

## Wonderwake Reviews in United States

### *---- "Don’t get it"
Well it worked great for a week. Now it has a bug in it. I set it for 6:15am and it went off at 6:55. Strange because the screen says alarm is set for 6:15 and will begin sounding at 6:55
-- Loubob657, 2025-03-24

### ***** "A hidden gem"
Quite odd that Apple’s alarm app is so devoid of features 😕

This app fits all my needs and gently wakes me up whenever needed. Well designed UI is just a cherry on top. Excellent app!
-- Deniz Ozmaden, 2025-02-18

### ***-- "Not bad"
The gentle nature sounds pre-alarm is exactly what I want. It would be nice if the app was a little more advanced. I cannot set a recurring alarm; I have to manually program an alarm every night. Sometimes the app freezes and won’t let me pick a time at all, even with restarts.
-- mafaun88, 2025-02-12

### ***-- "I don’t understand it"
I set my alarm for 8:35. The alarm started going off at 8:37.
-- VixenBrownSugar, 2025-01-18

### ****- "Love how it gently wakes me but…"
The nature sounds and the way it wakes me up is perfect. I would pay for additional features like being able to schedule the alarm for the week so I don’t have to set it daily. Another option is to have the alarm sound on both phone and anything paired to it. I go to sleep with music on my Bluetooth earbuds and they will eventually fall out so if it’s still paired I won’t hear the alarm.
-- acej5, 2025-01-10

### **--- "Seems to be broken"
No sound in the mornings (paid version, 30 minute interval). Complete silence. Works only midday. Backup alarm doesn’t seem to work. Was late for work twice.
