## WoofTrax Reviews in United States

### ***** "12/4 update eliminated 3 decimals(again) and can’t sort points"
The latest update eliminated the third decimal place for miles again. As mentioned last summer this makes it a little more difficult to know your actual distance when reaching the quarter mile distance (due to rounding).

The extra 5 points option after completing a walk is a nice addition. After some reporting to the dev team these are now correctly reported in the rankings.

Now if they can actually SORT the newly reported values. In the global rankings it’s clear that the displayed value isn’t used to determine ranking. There are several cases where higher values follow lower ones. As of 1/1/2025 the #3 listed global walker (Deron) has over 2000 MORE points than the first place entry (Steve).

In my case I’m ELEVEN (11) positions after where my score should place me. There are several other similar errors. This is such an odd error it makes one wonder what point count is used to reward the charities involved.

### ***** "Motivating"
I’ve walked our dog every day since signing up, even if it’s a short distance. She LOVES the app

### ***-- "Update is terrible"
Not only did the decimal points go away, you now have to watch an ad to get your points. Then you can watch another ad to get extra points. I don’t have time to wait for ads to keep walking multiple ads. It’s glitchy. 6 of my walks today were disallowed for some reason.

### ****- "Yay for WoofTrax"
What a cool idea. I am all about helping shelters out. Is it possible to sync this app to a Garmin or Apple Watch? That would be so useful. I’ve already forgotten to turn on the app multiple times because I’m so used to logging miles through my watch. Also, can you get more points for longer mileage? I get the same points for going 1/4 mile as I do for longer walks. I do it understand it’s a charity so either way THANK YOU!

### ***** "WoofTrax"
I really love this app! I like how by me walking my dogs everyday helps my charity. Would be nice if we could also earn points for other exercise that we do without the pups. Still it is an awesome way to help out charities, by something we do daily. Thank You WoofTrax ❤️🐾🐕🐾❤️

### ***** "Great app"
Been using for a few years and it’s nice to be able to walk the dogs and give something to our local spca Easy to use and even the adds at the end have been useful at times

### ***** "Cool app!"
I’ve been very pleased with the app so far. It’s very easy to use, and I love the map feature so I can see exactly where we’ve been. Throw in the fact that it helps the rescue where we got our pup, and it’s a definite keeper!
-- NBarksdale, 2024-11-11

### ***** "Feel good doing good"
The app is easy to use. It’s nice to know we’re helping our favorite rescue organization by getting out and enjoying our walk.
-- 3LittleGoldens, 2024-11-07

### ****- "LIKE this app"
I have been using this app for many years now…. My biggest issue is that my walks pause sometimes, like just now, half way through and didn’t record it all…stop pausing walks with any touch of the phone !!!!

Also I don’t understand why every walk is 10 coins….why aren’t longer walks worth more? It’s been YEARS!!! lol

Also I can’t find it anywhere… how much ACTUALLY gets donated to the shelter I picked?! Where do I find that out?
-- Partch82, 2024-11-05

### ***** "So great!"
I have really enjoyed this app. I’ve always walked a lot, so getting to benefit my local shelter with all that walking is great, and on days I sometimes want to skip my walk, it can motivate me to get out there and go! I also love the community function. I must admit - I do get competitive!!
