Alternative (or supplement) to rover where you can request dog sitter/care (or play dates) for specific dates you will be out of town and list when you’d be able to return the favor. Great way to save money while swapping dog sitting!
I have been using this app for a few months and I absolutely love it! It’s so nice to meet others in the community and have friends who you trust to exchange help with.
Definitely useful for pet parents.!
Not bad, but I wish it was totally free though. Having to pay to create a boarding request is just ok. Although, I’m not sure I can just trust just anyone with my doggy. I rely on professionals that have had more than one dog since most people are not that attentive when it’s not their dog or paid for it.
We have been looking for this and there it was! We are so grateful this app exists, is easy to use, works perfectly and allowed us to do exactly what we needed it to do!
I am a blind person who uses voice over as my screen reader on iOS. This app was inaccessible right out of the box. I was unable to even create an account, as the app was not accessible, not allowing me to fill out the required fields. Please do better in making your app accessible to everyone who might benefit from the services offered here.
I was so excited to discover this app; it’s one of those things I’ve thought of starting myself but knew I’d never actually do it. I can’t wait to get started meeting new dog friends for my pup. One quick suggestion I have for the developers is to add a function on the “search” page to see dogs within x number of miles of your current location. It’s a bit cumbersome to have to select the city each time out of tons of cities nationwide, plus I am open to multiple cities so it would be nice to just see all the dogs near me in one list. Thanks for making this great app!
Great app for dog boarding exchange. So easy to use.
Woofyclub is a great boarding idea that meant to be an alternative to traditional pet sitting or hotel services. I hate leaving my fur babies for vacation and always worried how they’re treated without me. It’s quite stressful to find a good pet hotel (is there any really?) or seasonable pet sitter who will treat your doggies as the family. And the cost of such service is skyrocketing. People forgot about old good times when we used to exchange the favors, on opposite to monetized relationships. When you find another family who treats their four paws baby the same way as you do, when you see they can provide care adequate you your expectations and you can pay them back the same way - what could be better? In my childhood neighborhood people used to babysit each other kids - there is no difference with dogs really. The only problem is to find a good match because people may not get along together, dogs may not like each other for any reason (they have their own preferences, like we do), or the location could be far away from active community participants so you have to plan ahead and have enough time to try different options and schedule playdates first.
