Shop online and manage your Pick up & Delivery orders
Search and add products to your trolley and organise your order to be delivered. You can also pick up your order from any of our stores. We’ll notify you when your Pick up order is ready for collection, and when your Delivery is on its way. 

Change or cancel your order until our team starts picking. To manage your order, go to your order details in the app.

I don’t know why the app retain my credentials. Everytime I am in the store and open app I am logged out for some reason and can’t be bothered to login again specially when you at self checkout

Every time I have used the app to access the card for savings at checkout I have had to login. This is painful as the local store has poor internet connectivity and leaving me standing at the checkout for 5+ minutes trying to sign in.

This app is one of those cheap websites-in-an-app things, and is rife with bugs and user experience patterns that don’t make sense for iOS users. 
On top of that, I’ve already selected my local store, why do I keep seeing the blue thing wiggling in my face on every screen ? I got so frustrated by that and all the motion in the top menu bar that o forgot what I was ordering for.
I’m also collecting my order from store, why is the message asking me whether I’ll be home for an age verification check? 
Having said that, parts of the app are decent. Figuring out the particulars of click and collecting an order was straight forwards and didn’t result any more frustration, as an example.

After a whole year of this app logging me out every single time I use it ,it has finally started to save my login for next time.  That way I can actually swipe the Everyday Rewards card without having to clumsy type in my entire login credentials.  Hopefully there will be more improvements coming

It won’t let me download then now it is part of my apps when I search but there is no icon and when I search and click on the app it won’t open. I don’t know how to delete it and reinstall it as there is no icon for me to hold and select delete so now I can’t do anything including accept any vouchers

This app has become practically impossible to function since the shift to Woolworths. Constant issues with loading my cart, being asked to sign in every other time I open the app. For the $4 million that went into this rebrand you’d think you would have employed someone to ensure a smooth transition within app functionality ESPECIALLY after tying your new rewards card to it and encouraging all your customers to use said app. Ugh stupidity at such a high level is infuriating, pay your frontline staff more if you’re gonna skimp on online features!!!

It’s been years and you guys still can’t figure out how to retain user login sessions. Either the app is built with so much technical debt or your outsourced developers don’t know what they’re doing. Having to login twice is the biggest barrier and we just shop with new world instead. It’s easier.

delivery driver from pukekohe store was an absolute numbskull, as a first time online app shopper with woolies i made a large order as its nearing chrissie so beer was added to my order along with food ect, the driver had the nerve to dismiss my NZ passport as ID because it had expired a few years ago. Im 43. No where does the app say when placing my order that my ID needs to be current just states it " may be asked to show ID apon delivery".I'll also note that when buying alcohol in person i never need ID here in Waiuku. Woolies pukekohe suck and customer service staff awful and unhelpful. Worst experience ever regarding grocery shopping online, will stick to good ol' NEW WORLD WAIUKU as staff there are lovely, kind and sincere

I honestly cant believe people still shop here.

Logging people out to create panic at the checkout (so people can’t scan and don’t get cost savings) is absolutely predatory and absolutely disgusting from a company still getting record profits. 

Horrendously disingenuous business. We arent buying its an error. Years later and the app still logging everyone out. Yeah right.

Maybe it’s about time to outsource- get an Asian software developer. Been about a year now (and nearly a year since rebranding), but app still full of issues which are frustrating. I can make a very long list of complaints if I am one of the software testers. All these months and the app not even close to being bug-free; not good enough…

Also, if I’m in the Boosts page, tapping on the orange SHOP button now does not take me to the shop or item. The SHOP button just does not do anything anymore.

Every now and again, each of us encounters a software that is so utterly incapable of performing the single task it was designed for, it makes us question the extent to which technology actually improves our lives. Unfortunately for Woolworths app users, this is a weekly occurrence. 
This app has a relatively simple job to do, and uses a very basic online shopping model to do so, yet when trying to perform the most simple tasks, it has as much success as a cat trying to catch a laser pointer. 
This cumbersome, clunky and convoluted mess is offensive to the eye, about as reliable as a career politician, and prompts me to sign in every time I blink. 
The staggering amount of 1 star reviews (1.1k at the time of this review), and Woolworths complete lack of acknowledgment of these issues provides your customers with the assurance that you intend to do precisely nothing to fix this issue. 
These are not million dollar bug fixes, they are patches that would take a decent software engineer a week or so to fix. 
SORT IT OUT.
