Simple to use The Wave’s intuitive and modern design ensures it is very simple to operate using either its in-built touchscreen or the app. • Supplied with a pre-set programme that can then be easily modified to suit your requirements. • The Wave features a ‘holiday programme’, requiring just a start and finish date. • An installation and operating manual is provided with each control and there are links to number of helpful videos within this app that provide further details on specific functions. Simply smarter The Wave’s innovative programming enables it to have an ‘intelligent conversation’ with the boiler enabling energy efficiency features including: • Load and weather compensation which allows the boiler to adapt its operation, to achieve optimum efficiency, whist still maintaining the level of heating comfort required. This can help reduce fuel bills. • Unlike most other smart heating controls, the Wave can also programme the hot water settings, providing additional energy savings and comfort. • Charts of heating and hot water usage so the homeowner can easily identify where potential savings could be made. It's never changed. It was sorely missing a boost button 8 years ago when launched, how have you not bothered to move with demand of customers? Almost every other review mentions this, but still WB not interested. I would never buy your products again. Fail to move with the times. Prepare to fail altogether. I've rarely seen such abject laziness. Get a grip, or go bust. Can't say you've not been warned! -- Last years technology, 2024-10-31 ### ****- "Great App had it since 2016 but basic functionality." Would be even better if it had a boost button on the app to have the heating on for one hour. At present I have to either adjust the program settings to an extra hour through programming or turn the thermostat up and turn it down or off to stop it if I remember. Please add support for diverter valve kits and water tank temperature. Please add additional hot water periods. We need flexibility to save energy. Please add boiler flow temperatures. However it has started to fail to connect and has become very temperamental. It’s as if the App gives up trying to connect halfway through the process. I have tried it many times recently whilst in my home so I can check at the same time that there isn’t a problem with internet connection which there isn’t. Since the most recent update, historic data just caused the app to lose connection and prompts you to retry connection to the boiler. With the pandemic and people working from home, the programme timer is far too basic and doesn’t allow for more than 2 on/off cycles per day. You can set your heating times but you can’t really do much more. There’s no way to track usage for example and there is no proper tutorial or help feature to explain the features that are there which means when something goes wrong it’s hard to fix. The app also hasn’t been updated for years, ours was installed in 2016 and it’s still exactly the same now, with the same limited functions. I have issues EVERY day connecting to the thermostat (there are no issues with my internet). I have to adjust the temperature on the timed programme multiple times a day as the thing is so sensitive even .1 degree can make the difference between the house being freezing or overheating like we’re in the Sahara Desert. I’ve spoken to the installer and the technical team who have no idea what the problem is. I dread winter coming every year as it means I have to waste my time waiting to connect again (why 4 minutes?!) just to turn the temperature down .1 degree to get a comfortable night sleep.
