Join Sam the Spelling Bee in a fun and casual word game. Help Sam find words in a letter box by dragging your finger through them. Collected tiles are used to paint beautiful pictures! How to play: Each level has a category and a box of letters. Your goal is to find all the hidden words matching the category in the letter box. There are no wrong answers so feel free to try out if you're unsure. Only correct words will be accepted. All letters in the grid will be used. If you have letters remaining, there's still a word hidden in there! There's also a butterfly you can try to catch! If you find the word the butterfly is currently on, you gain extra tiles. Collected tiles are used to paint beautiful pictures! Sam the Spelling Bee is quite the painter! Feel free to use hints, you'll get free ones every day. Hints will show you the beginning of the word. The next hint will show the second letter. The butterfly will always fly to the hinted letter, making it easier to catch it! All games by Sam are handcrafted for a high quality experience with no ads! Share the joy! ## Word Search by Sam Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/3e/71/59/3e7159d7-f83e-3ab9-132d-ec0c92d92866/IMG_3387.PNG/1290x2796.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/b0/65/35/b0653505-7e04-534a-a4e5-2ad84b182959/IMG_3385.PNG/1290x2796.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/9a/d5/06/9ad5067c-3f9f-9e74-fdf8-095a0350ca4b/IMG_3384.PNG/1290x2796.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/2f/9f/03/2f9f0390-bbb5-d7d2-c0fa-b5e6928568e3/IMG_3388.PNG/1290x2796.png) ## Word Search by Sam Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 143 (92%) - 4 stars: 9 (6%) - 3 stars: 2 (1%) - 2 stars: 1 (1%) - 1 stars: 1 (1%) ## Word Search by Sam Reviews in United States ### ****- "Relaxing but…" Relaxing and fun but don’t understand the painting pic thing. Seems weird. Why?? -- Book319, 2026-02-02 ### ***** "Fantastic" Best game ever!! Not too hard, not too easy .NO ADS!!! Sam is too cute and painting after every level is so fun Beautiful pictures. “Try it,you’ll like it” -- Trevor8, 2026-01-18 ### ***** "Best most chill game ever" Highly highly recommend this very chill search & paint. Who knew the joy? -- makmaine, 2025-11-30 ### ***** "Great game (and actually free and ad-less!) But it could do with a few missing features." Great game! I just wish there was an option to replay levels again after they’ve been beaten. Some place that the pictures completed could be saved in would also be cute so you can feel a sense of accomplishment. -- Luz p, 2025-07-03 ### ***** "Great game" This is a beautiful game. No advertisements, no Internet purchases. Just a beautiful graphics and a fun game. I love it. -- ByronicZero, 2025-03-01 ### ***** "Not a cash grab, beautiful app" Beautiful design, awesome for kids (not a spammy cash grab app), great for learning words and spelling. I would’ve paid for this app! -- beefyben, 2025-01-01 ### ***** "Super fun" Great game with zero annoying ads.
