Idea to improve the app
Lately I find it very uncomfortable that the search box is at the top of the screen. Also the button to listen to the word. I usually read holding the book with one hand and the phone with the other when I read in my non-native language and going up to the search box with one hand is almost impossible, you have to juggle to get there. I think it would be nice to either redesign the app or have both possibilities by changing the way you have the search box, the listen button and the menu at the bottom, just like the new versions of safari; in this one you can choose whether to have the url box at the top or at the bottom.
For the rest, I think it is a very complete app.

First, thanks for this app that is awesome. However, since recently, you can’t listen to the words, it’s not working anymore. To me that’s the killer feature of your app. Please fix it! I’m using an iPhone 11 Cheers

I’ve been using this app for years now and it has everything for living abroad

The app doesn’t translate full sentences it’s annoying because you have to look up a word individually but still a good app
Not a proper app
Bad wrapper for the web page; can’t manage my ads preferences from it because the underlying page is not responsive.
Problem.
My app doesn’t seem to be working.
Keep say request “timed out”. Like this since last night! What’s wrong????

Extremely poorly designed app. The website is absolutely amazing, but there is such a negligence in relation to making the app a user friendly study guide.
Not even a forums window. The app is clearly just a website trade off because there is no proper interference. Really not sure why it's so poorly built. I'd most definitely pay for it if I was getting offered a proper designed app to glorify WordReference's prowess.
Glitches
Seems to change dictionaries automatically (to English-Spanish when I've only been searching in English-French) which is a pain since I have to go back to the main page and reselect the dictionary I had been using).
I also find when I click on a forum feature and go back (after having searched a phrase or selection of keywords) that it takes me back several searches. This is particularly frustrating if I want to check different forum entries using the keywords I've searched. Also, for example when searching in French-English I find that if I'm typing a long word/ phrase/ keywords, it sometimes crashes and exits the app altogether. I don't have these problems with the webpage version, though. Great site overall.
