I’ve been using the desktop version for a few years and have found it indispensable (study, work, and personal use). Fantastic to now also be able to have it on my phone. Great for ADHD, can minimise lists to limit distracting content. Love the features like hyperlinks and being able to attach a PDF, colour code, bold/italic, and notes. Brilliant use of a simple but very powerful idea. Love it!

I had wrote a review saying that the web app and the iPhone app are great but the iPad app not so much. It turns out, once you learn how to use it you can do more or less everything with it you can do on the web. My complaint was and remains that it has been optimised only for touch, but on a large iPad with a mouse or touchpad and keyboard it feels clunky. In a perfect world the app would ‘know’ when you’re hovering a mouse over a context sensitive menu or just want to use your finger. Anyway, it works and that’s the main thing.

There is something really simple and productivity inducing about fractal note taking that Workflowy are really on to, this company should have been bought out already! 

Special mention that this app has been profoundly helpful compared to other note taking styles for my ADD. I can dive as deep as I need, but then bring all my notes back to a clean format easily. Thank you team!

### ***** "Great product but devs won’t remove auto-gen URL in your text"
Love the product and use it for years, but it is so painful when Workflowy decides your text is a URL and turns your text into a URL (you can’t turn this ‘feature’ off!).  Worse, there is then no way to remove the incorrect URL (they won’t listen to putting in the ability to remove it!) and so you end up with invalid ugly URLs all over your text.  At least MS Word allows you to click and remove hyperlink!

Don’t use this until they listen and fix this ‘feature’.

After using many organisation apps that were either too rigid or not quite suited to me, I gave WorkFlowy a go as an expanding notebook. 

Little did i know it would replace all the other apps. 

As I built my lists and explored its simple but effective tools, I realised that with the use of hashtag keywords allowed any number of projects, search terms and growth. 

My first page lists the most popular (day, week, month, year, individual shopping lists by store, specific projects etc. 
this allowed me easy daily checks to keep track of what became a large and complex network of ideas. 

When the inspiration strikes I can develop mind maps of projects quickly and efficiently. 
When I need to organise information, I can drag & drop it’s order. 

I’m still finding uses for this simple yet potentially complex app, across all of my devices.

### **--- "Keyboard shortcuts don’t work"
The whole appeal of WorkFlowy (on the Mac) for me is being able to quickly brainstorm and create lists using purely the keyboard. For some reason, the keyboard shortcuts for the Mac version are not implemented on the iPad, making it basically useless for anyone wishing to have a speedy, efficient tool on the iPad.
