Have you ever bothered looking for appropriate workouts on your watch? If so, why not create ones by yourself? WorkOther helps you do that, you can create custom workouts on it and use them on Apple Watch, which makes your Watch the all-round workout tracker.
Another feature worth mentioning is fat burning heart rate indication, It ensures your exercise intensity is enough for burning fat, so as to improve weight loss efficiency.
HealthKit
WorkOther requires the HealthKit permission to read your heart rate while doing exercises with Apple Watch, and write workout data into Health app.

Finally I can record my Lawn Work as Lawn Work! And my Snow Shoveling as just that! Whatever exercise you do, you can now customize it and call it what it is. This is a great little app to use along with Apple’s Fitness App. Thank you for making this app!
Poor performance on latest watchOS
Very poor responsiveness, frequently stuck
Just downloaded it!
Highly recommend for someone that wants to track other activities that burn calories and does not want to lump everything into “other”
Not bad
So far my experience has been not good, not bad. I’d call it ok
Love it!
This was the app I needed and I’m so glad AppAdvice recommended it one day. It works seamlessly with the Apple Watch and iPhone. And now I get credit for the things I do that are definitely exercise for me. Get it now.
Works well...except with UA app
I like the way this app allows you to log a workout. Unfortunately, if I start a workout on the UA app, this pops up asking if I am doing a workout. If I say “yes” the UA app is stopped. The UA app allows GPS tracking, blue tooth connected tracking to my shows and allows me to listen to music while I am working out.
Perhaps a future consideration to allow use with iTunes or Spotify, etc... Would be a desired feature.
I wanted to like this app, but could not
I could not warm up to it after if failed in what it supposed to help you do, add custom workouts. It just renames the workout only in Fitness app, everywhere else it shows as ‘Other’. But also, even after paying for the app, it will still show you Ads. I had to uninstalled it.
Dumb.
Just comes up as other for apple. Can’t shut the voice over up. Really no customization at all besides renaming
This is in metric and I use Imperial.
Also no way to log how many minutes you do each workout. Total waste of money
Can’t change measurement settings?
There’s no setting to switch between units of measurement. I don’t know how tall I am in cm without having to google it, or what I weigh in kg.
