## WORLD News Group Description
“WORLD gives me the news and helps me to engage with culture in such a way that compels me to pray instead of despair.” —WORLD Reader
WORLD produces sound journalism, grounded in facts and Biblical truth. Through print magazines, online articles, and podcast programs, our trained journalists report on current events both global and national so that readers and listeners can see how God is at work in the world, no matter the headlines.
WORLD readers and listeners are made up of thoughtful believers who aim to competently talk about and pray about the news. They can think for themselves and prefer to draw their own conclusions. They want the truth, and they understand that the truth demands a Biblical context, or it’s not the whole truth. News delivered this way compels them to act. Led by the Spirit, they are often emboldened to pray, love, and serve others in light of what they learn.
Easily access all of WORLD's magazine, digital, and podcast content in one place with this updated version of the app.

## WORLD News Group Reviews in United States

### *---- "Do not like changes to the app"
This app reminds me of why I cancelled my subscription to The Wall Street Journal last year when their new app changed for the worse. I don’t want a feed of stories - I want a format more like the website. Let me see and choose what I want. And then I go to the website and it freezes every time I attempt to log in.
-- S6482, 2024-11-26

### ****- "A maturing news service"
World News Group is striving to become a first class, world-class news service. They are moving in the right direction. Their growth has been slower because they are careful and prayerful. I wish there were more local contributors. The reports from other countries are always fascinating. WNG, you are in my prayers!
-- n0tBetty, 2024-11-14

### ****- "Two things needed"
I thoroughly enjoy your app and like the new look. There are two things I wish you would add. First, I’d like to see a scroll bar as I read an article so that I have a sense of how long the article is before I start reading it. Second, it would be nice to highlight a word sometimes to look up the definition of that word.
-- Cygnus Chronicler, 2024-11-14

### *---- "Landscape mode for iPads, Please"
With my stroke, holding my iPad upright on my lap in a wheelchair with only one useful hand is awkward at best and disastrous at worst when it hits the floor! The best mode to read is with an iPad fitted into a keyboard attachment that I can set on my lap to read in landscape mode.

Without that ability, this app is useless to me.
-- Kmataote, 2024-07-16

### ****- "Good content and app, but…"
Good content and app, but needs more controllability for listeners that are divers.
Please activate forward and reverse commands through external Bluetooth controls. And please activate faster 1.25x, 1.5x, 1.75x listening speeds.

Keep up the good work.
-- Hi_win, 2023-12-06

### ***** "Highly recommend"
A great resource for fair and balanced perspectives on what is happening in the world.
-- BresserMatous, 2023-09-15

### *---- "Crashing…."
Love world magazine but In the 48 hours since I’ve downloaded it has crashed 10+ times.
-- Jeffrey99, 2023-05-31

### ***** "Smart Non-Snarky Journalism"
Thank you wng.org for this source I’ve trusted for decades (when you were merely a monthly magazine!). Proud of your growing influence and happy to promote World’s many platforms whenever I have the chance.
-- spice2life, 2023-03-15

### ***-- "WORLD Magazine ap"
The ap worked well and made it easier for me to read the articles over my paper copy of the magazine. The issue I have been having since January is the ap crashes when trying to open some articles. I have reached out twice to the tech support and no response. This is why I have give. The ap a three star. I do enjoy and content. It’s a great magazine.
-- General7w9, 2023-03-03

### *---- "App doesn’t work properly after latest update"
I can't access the digital magazine now on the World Magazine app on my iPad, and I have canceled my auto-renew subscription. I see the articles and magazine editions but nothing loads on the page when I click on the article or magazine. I signed out and then signed back in but still no content, and then I deleted and reinstalled the app but still can’t see magazine content. I miss the previous version where I simply browsed through the complete magazine rather than the current look.

I will miss World Magazine for it’s faithful worldview, but I can’t read what I can’t see. Please fix this app for other users who may be experiencing this issue.
