World Piano Notes & Drum Beats Reviews

GREAT APP BUT FACING ISSUES

Roszae🖤 on

This App Is Perfect I Can't Lie. It Allows Me To Do Countless Things That I Wouldn't Be Able To Do With only Garageband, But Recently I Came Across A Problem That I Have Faced With Other AUV3 Apps. After A While Plug-ins Would Crash And It Would Tell Me To "App Not Found Please Reinstall And The App would Still Be Downloaded, Usually After Powering My Phone Off And Reopening Garageband The Auv3 Would Pop Back Up But World Synth Is The First To Never Start Back Working And It Has Been Weeks Now And I Just Wanna Finish My Old Projects. I Really Love This App And Will Continue To Use It But I'm Unable To Right Now Even After Deleting And Reinstalling Both Apps So If Possible Please Fix It.

Can’t Restore Purchases on New Device

My previous review raved about how great this app is and I gave it 4 stars. However, I recently bought a new IPad Pro with M4 chip and I can’t restore my purchases. I’ve contacted taqs.im but haven’t heard back from them. Hopefully this will get their attention. I use this app in almost every project and as things stand, all my hard work has been for nothing!

Buyer beware!

I wanted to try all the available sound packs, and they had a 12 month subscription that unlocked all packs, and came with a 7 day free trial. I thought I might as well give it a try, and if I don’t like it I could just cancel in the free trial period. I signed up for the free trial and was charged immediately. I didn’t think anything of it and downloaded all the packs. To my ear, the included sounds are low quality and cheesy sounding. I knew it would be unusable in any of my productions. I went to cancel and found that there was no way to cancel my free trial. I’m stuck paying for a useless 12 month subscription. I’ve contacted the developer and they say I have to contact apple for my refund. I’ve contacted apple and they say I have to contact the developer. Nightmare!

Is it just me or are the sounds garbage?

iPad’s are an interesting tool for todays aspiring computer musicians. On the one hand - there is infinite potential for iPads to be the ultimate performance and production tool. There are exciting new apps coming out all the time… unfortunately, this isn’t one of them. I browsed all the sounds - and am deeply disappointed… you would be better off with a stock Yamaha or Casio keyboard from the 90’s. I dont understand what the point of making virtual instruments is if they don’t actually sound like the instruments….

Update :I’m not absolutely exaggerating, I swear!

This developers Apps are better than all the DAWs combined! The developer has made me, not forcefully, but with his honesty and integrity, and passion! I’ve started to believe that he’s the ability to start his own Apple AppStore! Man! This guy, I could easily sacrifice 7 years of my lifespan to him, as a gift, so that he could continue making his unparalleled aesthetic appreciation for music! Dear lord, please kindly bless him! Farabi. If you don’t love his apps, I’m worried about your soul and inner peace! Update: one star cut down due to the sudden uncertain crashes. Hoping the devs would fix it asap? After that , infinite stars would appear! Love and hugs!

I went ahead and purchased the lifetime access feature. I am still going through the sounds (and there are a LOT of them!), and most of them are wonderful! My personal favorite is the duduq (duduk), as my son decided he wanted to learn to play it, so I have a reference point with which to compare it. But now that I’ve unlocked all of the other libraries, I still have hundreds of sounds to explore! The accordions show a lot of promise, as do the organ sounds, and some of the world flutes are also exquisite. Updates (maybe) later as I listen to more of the sounds! A couple more things on the sounds: 1) Most of the preview files are short and not representative of the better sounds within the packs!; 2) So far, I am mostly not disappointed with the expansion packs, so from 1-10, I rate the sounds I’ve tested to be 8-10, depending on the pack. You can download individual packs, once you pay for the lifetime (which I did). As to the rhythms, being a disciple of Western/European music, I can’t attest to the accuracy of the loops and if they’re accurate for the milieu, but they sure sound cool! A couple of them have a kind-of-audible break in the sustaining drums, as they’re loops, which also means that they don’t have fills, like we do in American rock or country music, which is most likely accurate for most world music — why fill when you’re doing a sustained rhythm, and not bound by 4- or 8-measure phrases, right? As to their sounds, I am SUPER impressed! And what other loops and sample packs come with 5/8, 7/8, and other odd time signatures (at least to the average Westerner)? LOVE this feature! In conclusion, I really love this whole set up! I have numerous FM synthesizers and other oddballs, but none of them do what this whole set up does! I look forward to using it a lot more as time goes on. The only reason I downgraded it to four stars is that I have had an occasional crash or two both on my iPhone 14 and my iPad ninth generation. If I can come up with a thing that will consistently crash it, I will let the developers know. and I will uprate accordingly when it is fixed. My final question (also mentioned in another written review), is wondering if when you purchase the lifetime access, is that only per iPhone/iPad, or does the one purchase cover multiple devices like every other app I’ve purchased does? And if not, is there a “loyalty link” or something to make this happen? Thank you again for this wonderful, innovative sound source!

This app definitely helps create music
