WorldCard Mobile, de meest vooraanstaande visitekaartje-scan toepassing voor de iPhone, gebruikt OCR technologie (Optical Character Recognition) om direct de informatie op visitekaartjes in de eigen contacten te importeren. Met een eenvoudig cameraklikje hoeft u niet langer handmatig de info op kaartjes en emailadressen in te voeren.

The app auto-populates the country based on "language" even when the "add country code" is OFF in settings. For example, if I select portuguese, it will fill Portugal; then manually I have to change to Angola. For "English" it is more anoying as when you get cards from Russia, Middle East , etc that are in English, you need to edit all of them, one by one. Then, to make it worst, instead of having all countries sorted by name (like ALL apps in the world do!) they are sorted by continent, but as this is not anoying enough, then they are sorted by sub-regions. Have you ever seen a business card written: Frankfurt - Germany - EUROPE ????
