I use AI to do medical research and it is helpful but citations may be incorrect. Everything significant must be verified. It hallucinates plausible information and fictitious citations which is a nice way if saying it intentionally lies occasionally. I found that patents cited by number when verified are nearly always completely wrong. The potential is amazing but it isn’t dependable.
