## Writing Challenge for Kids Description
Writing Challenge for Kids is an app to express creativity, have fun with writing, spark inspiration and improve writing skills.

WHO IS THIS APP FOR?

• Kids between 7 and 14 years who want to write their own stories.

• Writers who want to write books for children.

• Parents who want to make their kids play with their creativity.

• Teachers who want to improve creativity and writing skills in their classrooms.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

It's easy. You just have to press "start" and the app gives you the first prompt to start writing your story. Choose the one that you most like and fire up your writing. Then, every minute (or the period of time you choose; you can set it in the app settings) the app will give you a new prompt for you to add new ideas, words, characters, sentences, places or actions to the plot. Quite a challenge to turn your writing into a game!

WHAT THIS APP OFFERS:

• Generates millions of creative writing ideas for children storytelling.

• Universal app for iPhone/iPod Touch and iPad.

• Great for homes and schools.

• Inspiration. Forget about creative blocks and carry always the muses with you.

• Fun and Motivation. With this app writing is like a game, because when we enjoy, everything gets easier.

Improvise and experience free writing is now funnier than ever. Great for kids, parents and teachers. And, of course, for writers who want to write children books. You will never fear the blank page again.

Have fun and happy writing!!

## Writing Challenge for Kids Reviews in United States

### *---- "Not what expected"
It is not what I expected. This is more for children who are learning how to write and need sentence starts and topics to help them with their writing. It is not for anyone seeking to start writing a book of any kind. I want my money back.
-- Mubu1glo, 2024-05-04

### ****- "It’s good but has a bug"
I like the concept but the change the time option is not working.
-- Mike P Bayly, 2020-08-08

### **--- "Disappointing..."
I downloaded this app in hopes that it would be a good tool to use in the classroom. Great concept but the clock doesn't want to work appropriately. It starts, counts down about three seconds and stops. For a $2 app, this needs to get fixed.
-- CaNes_ChIck, 2015-10-05

### ****- "Almost perfect"
This app is great for kick-starting the writing process.

There are two things it lacks however. One is a "return to the last screen" option, for the occasions when you accidentally click the wrong button. The other is a "save" option for when you have a really great series of prompts but have to cut the session short due to time constraints.

Since this app is targeted to the elementary and middle grades, it is worth taking into consideration that the ability to step away and return to the same project is important as is recognizing that pressing the wrong button will happen every once in a while.
-- Sub Standards, 2015-05-19

### ****- "Great, except..."
While the app itself is well designed and works great, I'm a little disappointed that it includes such lines as "Follow the yellow brick road," and "In a galaxy, far far away."

For the most part though, the prompts are fun, inventive and sure to get kids thinking up some terrific (and hilarious) stories.
-- SSAJCM, 2014-06-13

### *---- "Impossible to use with my iPad"
This app is not designed to be used in landscape mode. If I want to use it in potrait mode, I have to prop it up with one hand while using the on-screen keyboard. Not only is this awkward, the hand propping it up tends to go numb.

I wish designers who promise that their app is compatible with iPad would take into consideration that most of our iPad covers do not provide enough stability to prop up our iPads in portrait mode.

As it is, this app is useless to me.
