Daily Prompt: Creative Writing

I want to like this app, and I’ve found it useful for getting back into writing, but I absolutely cannot get past the use of AI art for the visual prompts. For a platform that focuses on creativity and sharing your art with others, the fact that it cannot do the bare minimum of using real people’s art for inspiration is abysmal. I’m now concerned this platform could be used for data scraping. Will be looking into the TOS. Disappointed but not surprised.

There’s nothing wrong with the app, it’s actually great. If you’re looking to be a writer or just write a story, this is great for you! They even have prompts to help you start a story and let people give you feedback if you want. The only problem I have is that it’s basically a pay to use app, basically everything costs money. So, if you’re looking for a free writing app, I’d keep searching. But if you don’t mind paying, I’d definitely suggest this one. It’s really great.

It was a good app. All though I am very disappointed that I cannot access most of the prompts or competitions as I need to pay for the trials. I cannot pay and this is frustrating. But I did used some good prompts that were accessible for me

Been using this app for a year and met all of my yearly writing goals. There are so many prompts to choose from, and fun collections to help hone your craft and even start a novel! Lots of good stories to read, too. Great community. Excellent customer service as well. Looking forward to continuing using this app!

Like a lot of the prompts, however I try to participate and be active and give feedback to those who want it, but very rarely do I receive any.

There’s so much to say about Writing Prompts - Daily. I use it almost everyday, multiple times in a day, just writing to my hearts content. This is an amazing app. I really only have positive things to say about it. For those who love writing, this is perfect for you! The community is so encouraging and sweet. It’s BEYOND rare to ever come across someone who’s unkind. I have over 100 writings and I’ve had this app for maybe a year now?? The prompts are amazing, as well. If you are interested in hearing about any subscriptions, they do have some. If you don’t have premium, you can only use prompts they give to you daily, you will not have Free Write, ad there will be a 2,000 word limit for the writings you submit, as well as a limit on how many competitions you can enter into for a cash prize of 100 dollars. Of course, there is a way to get premium without having to pay every month or so. You can pay 47 dollars for a lifetime of premium membership. A LIFETIME. They don’t lie. Is there anything else to say?? —I know there is, but I’m trying to make this as short as possible haha (I love writing, so I have a tendency to make things longer than the original intent). Have a good day/night! Please give Writing Prompts a chance because it will not disappoint! Trust me, the experience is even better than the pictures ad comments portray!

This app is fun to get your creative juices flowing. I just spent hours working on a short story for one of the competitions. I selected to save my draft and when I went back to my app my story was gone. I am feeling so defeated. Make sure you copy and paste your stories into your own notes before saving your draft or you might lose all of your work like I did.

This app helped me get over my fear of wanting to be perfect by using the ideas and challenges generated by this app to begin writing. But the problem I ran into after I first signed up was that the prompts ranging from opening lines to setting the scene are completely excluded from those using the app for free. I feel that the daily prompts I get each day isn’t enough and it’s only been a couple days since I started. I would like a bit more variety of challenges. Not even asking for a lot. But it seems like I’m being told to spend money for the bare minimum whereas other platforms provide access to these perks for free.

This app is so great! On three days I have 20 followers! Thank y’all for making such a great app with wonderful community in it!😇 Would y’all mind making it to where I can save my free writings privately in like a note journal on the app?
