Weather Nerd: Advanced, glanceable weather - anywhere on earth. Skiers chasing snow, sailors and kiters timing a wind window, hikers watching a front. Real model data and charts you can read at a glance on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

PICK YOUR MODEL
Most apps blend everything into one forecast and don't tell you how. Pro lets you pick the model behind each location: ECMWF, ICON, GFS, HRRR, NBM, and Canada's GEM family down to 1 km resolution. Short-range models hand off to a longer-range one so the full 10 days are covered. Apple Weather is the free default.

COMPARE THEM ALL
Overlay every model's temperature, precip, and wind. The spread shows you how confident to be.

THE WEATHER MAP
Radar, satellite, clouds, lightning strikes, temperature, precip, wind, pressure, 500 hPa, the jet stream and fall colours. Pick the model that draws each layer and scrub the loop frame by frame. Where a country publishes its own radar composite, it appears next to the global one. Radar and clouds are global. Model layers and satellite imagery are available in the US, Canada and Europe, with coverage varying by source. Part of Pro.

Follow the big weather pattern down to your current location and saved spots, with readable forecast cards and wind-focused outlooks.
