WxPlan gives all users free access to essential tools including Location Briefs, Area Briefs, First/Last Light, Wind & Temperature Profiles, Restricted Area Briefs, RAIM Prediction, and all Charts.

Smart ETA-based TAF analysis:
Simply enter your destination and ETA, or import your run sheet - WxPlan extracts the TAF lines relevant to your arrival, considers TAF3 requirements, buffers, Part 121 or 91 rules and utilises your alternate minima to determine any weather conditions that may trigger holding or an alternate. View detailed TAF and METAR wind components for each runway.

NOTAMs Simplified:
View active and inactive NOTAMs relevant to your ETA. The NOTAM Analyser delivers easy-to-read summaries, while smart filters let you focus on the categories that matter to you.

Holding fuel calculator:
Instantly calculate your maximum holding time and latest exit point, whether you're in the hold or planning ahead, based on forecast or real-time data.

Alternate minima made easy:
Use our built-in Category alternate minima for CAT A to D aircraft, or bulk-import your own. Switch between Category and individual Custom Destination/Alternate minima to suit your needs. Need to be more specific? Import and switch between individual runway minima with support for multiple variations to each runway minima.

Auto-updating METAR, SPECI and ATIS:
WxPlan refreshes airport weather with automatic METAR/SPECI updates and notifies you as soon as a new ATIS is issued.

Flexible storage and caching:
Going offline? Cache charts, Met Briefs, and your entire day’s flying straight from your run sheet. Store individual briefs or import full rosters, and update them all with a single tap.

First/Last light indicator and Multi-ATIS pages:
Instantly see if your arrival is going to be at night with our day/night indicator reflecting official first/last light data for your arrival. Use the Multi-ATIS page to display up to four ATIS entries simultaneously for a complete snapshot.

WxPlan is an excellent tool for pilots looking for a smarter, faster, and more user friendly way to handle weather briefings and operational planning.

Instead of manually digging through weather data and notams, WxPlan automatically highlights holding fuel or alternate requirements, this saves a huge amount of time and reduces the chance of missing critical details. The interface is far more intuitive than traditional briefing tools.

The roster import feature is a major advantage for managing multiple sectors a huge time saver.

WxPlan is hands down the best weather app I have used to date. Being an airline pilot, this app has helped me identify fuelling requirements that would have been otherwise buried in the details that many would miss. It

is extremely intuitive and well put making it very easy to use on the ground and inflight. This app is definitely going to be a staple of MUST have apps and I would highly recommend any pilot of all levels to give it a go.

Importing your days run sheet is such a time saver. Just plug it in and it runs analysis on all your arrivals for the day, storing it for you to look at offline. Colour coded briefs show you at a glance too if you need holding or an alternate. The NOTAM filtering feature is super handy too, you can just choose the categories you want to see and it tells you if it is active on your arrival.

I happened to stumble across this app and so glad I did - honestly a game changer for Aussie pilots. You can review the weather and see the alternate minima all in one place and can even filter out NOTAMs. It has saved me so much time flight planning and the layout makes everything incredibly easy and fast to find. Like Naips but more user friendly with extra features. Highly recommend.
