## X-Stitch App Description
X-Stitch is an easy-to-use app designed by cross stitchers for cross stitchers.  X-Stitch includes Journal, Inventory and Shopping List modules.  The Journal lets you categorize and track all your projects, add photos, document the start and finish dates, and keep detailed project notes.  The Inventory module is a fast and fun way to manage your cross-stitch stash.  Charts, threads and linen can be added with just a few clicks.  Note: Chart details (names of chart, notes, etc.) are manually entered.  X-Stitch comes pre-loaded with hundreds of chart designers and over 22,000 thread selections that you can quickly and easily add to your inventory.    Use the Shopping List to prepare for your next trip to the needlework shop.  And because X-Stitch uses Cloud technology, you can securely access your data from all your iPhone and iPad devices.  No manual synching or duplicate typing!  Like to customize?  X-Stitch lets you pick your favorite image for the Home Screen.  Want to share?  X-Stitch supports sharing via Facebook, Twitter, E-Mail, Text, and more!

This is the perfect app for all my cross stitch inventory. I use it mainly for threads but have just started to add in my fabrics. Somehow my stash seems so much neater now it's inventoried and I've found loads I'd forgotten I have . Result

### ****- "Cool and useful, but there is a lot of room for improvement"
I downloaded it yesterday and I soon went back to get the subscription based upgrade “Plus” which was very disappointing as there were not that many worthy improvements over the original version. The aspect of this app that I liked the least is that it is not possible to add photos of your “inventory” section, which in my opinion almost completely defeats purpose of this action of the app. For example, I am collecting all the 30-odd Prairie Schoolers Santas, and without the photo of all the ones I already have, it is still difficult to decide which one to stitch next without the photo and I have to go back to my hard copy folders. This is an improvement I would like to see very soon from the developers.

When I go into update thread stock I can hardly see the numbers as they are so dark. Is there a way to change this?

Trying  to add flosses to my inventory and it seems to be obsessed with colour 21 light Alazarin , nearly every one I try to add comes up with this colour when trying to save .

It’s a useful app with great potential but it is missing colours (such as DMC 3726) and so you can’t add all your floss. Also, it is buggy. When you put in a floss number, it randomly comes up with Tin White so you end up adding the wrong floss colour. It also randomly doesn’t recognise colours - sometimes you can add a floss colour, sometimes it won’t find it in the search to add it.

Have used this app for years. I have emailed developers re adding new threads but still not added.

I would also like to move threads from inventory to journal once a chart is ‘kitted up’ and the threads could be allocated - ie 2 number 310 DMC allocated to such and such a chart

Like I said - it’s ok and I use it to keep inventory but could be so much better x

Great app!
I use to track all my inventory. This app has all the prepopulated fields needed to for all threads, fabric and designers.  It the one you are looking for is not there you just send a message to have it added.

I would be lost without this app!

Xstitch is a fabulous app that helps me keep track of all the wonderful fabric, threads &a charts I have bought for my hobby, I don't know what I did before I got it. An added bonus is I have the option of asking the builder to add a designer or a company that makes all the threads that are available, I think we just need beads & treasures now then it will be complete...

This is a great app for organising your stitching stash even down to listing your threads and linen, making notes where necessary. 
You can list all your kits/charts and even marking those you've started (and forgotten about) and now I always have an easy access list when out and about and buy in confidence of not doubling up. 
Highly recommended and well worth every penny!

This is a fantastic app for keeping a track of all my cross stitch stash. I had not realised how much stuff I had. The journal where you can keep a track of started/finished projects is very handy with a notes area for keeping track of any changes you have made. 
One thing that could be improved on is that a lot of the dmc threads are missing. I have emailed the developers so hopefully this will be improved in an update. I agree with another reviewer, a bead inventory section would also be very useful.

Easy enough to add stash to the various sections, but would like to be able to also add beads in the inventory section and to have separate sections for kits and charts. Other than that a very useful tool for keeping an inventory of threads, fabrics and charts/kits.
