Xactimate

My app crashes every time I am using the camera feature. Then it takes forever to reload.

Xactimate has been a great resource for my estimate and invoicing needs. Their customer service has also been great in helping me learn how to properly use the app. Thank you!

To anyone who is who in the world of claim adjusting please let me be the first to thank you for your help and support in learning about how important Xactimate is to a claim adjusters career. This newest version from April/May 2024 is not allowing me to download price lists in the field any longer. Frustrating! Also, a bunch of my macros are gone. Please work toward another bug fix, please.

This is a very good app, we do need a way to search within a category for certain items. When searching for specific category items we find other items from all categories. Can you make a way to filter to just one category? This would be very helpful

As the estimate gets larger and the more photos taken the more likely chance the system will crash, its trigger warning are set the “dumb” when the system gives you a warning about something that you already did, it failed to keep up with itself. The technology is 20 years behind. Great product, but losing the battle of keeping up.

Crashes every so often when I am sketching a property. I also can no longer use the auto capture for doors and windows. The other estimator in my office still has the option to use the auto capture.

For the mobile app support team: the product is awesome! BUT now, anytime I'm logged into my app, and go to any other app, when I go back to Xact it shuts down and has to reinitialize. It takes five minutes each time. This KILLS my productivity. You need to fix this! iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Mobile is so much more usable and dependable than when I first tried it 5-6 years ago. I’m making the switch to doing my entire scope on mobile while in the field as an adjuster. This is going to save me so much time… no more late nights in the hotel after a 12 hour day of scoping. The only thing is the LiDAR feature looks amazing, but doesn’t quite have the dependability as is needed. Sometimes the different interior rooms are left detached from their connecting rooms which defeats the purpose. So, I use the Disto D2 which works perfectly. When LiDAR catches up I am all in on LiDAR.

The “new” system is still full of bugs after forcing everyone to abandon a stable system. I still have issues with syncing & there are numerous items to be fixed. Instead of fixing the current software, they are more focused on how they can keep getting in our pockets for more money.
