Description

XAir Monitor Mixer is a personal monitor mixer for select Behringer and Midas digital mixers. It allows each musician on stage to choose exactly what they hear in their monitor without affecting (or being able to affect, even by accident) the band's main mix.

XAir Monitor Mixer supports the Behringer X18, XR18, XR16, XR12, and the Midas MR18 and MR12.

XAir Monitor Mixer deliberately does not include controls that would allow a musician on stage to accidentally mute channels or otherwise alter the main mix.

Usage:

1. Connect to the same WiFi network as the XR18. In most cases, this should be enough for the app to find your mixer. However, if your sound engineer has changed the default address of the mixer, you'll have to enter that address in the app's connection screen.
2. Choose which monitor you want to mix. If your sound engineer hasn't named these in a way that makes it obvious which is yours, ask him which is yours.
3. Mix away. :)

Won’t connect to server, entered IP address over 10 times, did not work, pls refund my money

It won't accept the IP address and cannot connect. Waste of money. Use the free computer app instead,which does work.

Easy, works

It doesn’t work

Waste of money, it won’t connect to the mixer. Using external airport router, other devices connect without issues. Update and fix it!!

Question

I have the XR18 and im accesing it using an airport express external router. Everything works fine with ipad and laptop over the AE’s wireless connection. The only thing I cannot do is connect to the mixer through the XAirMonitorMix app it’s specifically looking for an IP address “192.168.1.1”. What do I do? Thank you

Does what it says

I think it it is great. It allows me to check out and change the monitor mixes and levels without altering the Main L and R. It has saved me from a couple of recording mistakes. It is a simple straight forward and great app
