## xHP Flashtool Description
xHP Flashtool is the worldwide first and complete Tuning solution for your ZF6HP, ZF8HP Automatic or 7-Speed DCT transmission. xHP is the only tool that focuses fully on getting the best from your Auto-Transmission and is the worldwide leading solution for the best vehicles from Bavaria! xHP put's the power to fully customize your automatic transmission at your hands. Connect your Apple iPhone, IPad or Mac M1 to your car and customize by yourself or choose from pre-defined OTS maps.

The ZF Autos are used throughout the whole range, from the 1-Series hatchbacks, to the mighty Alpina and M cars!

While the hardware stays widely the same throughout all applications and is mainly divided in only 2 types (6HP19/21 and 6HP26/28 for 6-Speed, 8HP45/50/51 and 8HP70/75/76 for 8-Speed), the software inside the controller makes it possible to adapt the transmission, to every vehicle and mimic a wide range of driver styles. Smooth and comfy in the Luxury applications, the same transmission can be tweaked to deliver snap-on take-off behavior, surprisingly fast shift times and even race-style throttle blips on downshifts.

Tweaking your transmission is not only about getting quicker, or holding more power. An automatic transmission is deeply involved into vehicle dynamics and contributes very much to the overall driving experience. From crawling in traffic, over city driving, to taking your vehicle to the drag strip or a race track, the TCU widely defines how your car feels. Like everyone drives different with a manual, the maps inside the TCU hide the secrets to tweak your automatic transmission to your personal likings and finally experience what was once promised in the glossy brochure: Sheer driving pleasure!

For a seamless start, please read the manual on needed hardware and prerequisites:

To connect to your car, you have many options: xHP Wifi Adapter (blue), Wifi Thor Adapter, MHD Wifi Adapter (black and orange) or a standard OBD INPA USB or ENET cable! Please check our Connect-Diagram on our website to get further information and sources!

-- Payme0420, 2024-11-11

### *---- "Bad idea"
Because of the update you guys are ficking this up. Last year everything was go to go. Now everything is an issue. I was trying to reflash my transmission and my f85 now is stuck couldn’t get it to show P or drive on the dash board. Now my car is stuck. Need help with this.
-- The boss 191, 2024-09-30

### ***** "2017 BMW F30 340i"
Made my car go vroom vroom more than it already went vroom vroom.
-- abel2133, 2024-09-14

### ***** "2021 M550i(G30)"
xHP Flashtool is by far the best and only TCU flash known to me. I currently own a 2021 M550i and previously owned a 2020 M340i. I flashed the ECU on both vehicles which really woke the cars up, however, once I flashed the TCU with xHP Flashtool, it completely transformed the cars. The ease of use of the app is fantastic. All instructions needed to install the flash on your BMW are detailed within the app. If you are looking to take your driving experience to the next level, xHP Flashtool is the TCU software update your BMW needs.

### *---- "Adapter not found"
Used multiple devices to try and connect . Followed all over there to instructions . Even the re-emailed one they provided. Took it to a shop . They even had a hard time with connecting . Still had to pay for there labor Had the vehicle on a battery tender. I eventually had to use a power tap obd2 doggle. That i use for VW/Audi. Then it came down to no internet connection . Laptop , tablet , and iPhone 11 Pro Max w/ 17.5.1 iOS still could not connect. Even took out my pedal commander and motiv reflex box to make sure there was no disturbance to the canbus system . Turned off Bluetooth connection for infotainment system. Tried everything . I can connect to bm3 no issue. I can connect my snap on triton scanner updated to 2026 (monthly $45 subscription) . Now they are threatening to lock my tcu because I requested a refund. Yea that’s against the law bucko. Show me the contract with my signature. Not trying to be a stifler by any means . But you can’t advertise hand held and none of my devices connect . Send me my refund .
-- Nextlaneb58, 2024-07-22

### ***** "Amazing app"
Best way to get more out of the zf8 trans! It’s worth the $$ trust me. Just make sure you do the 50-75mi break in period and YES you will feel jerkiness with the trans adapting to the new software.
-- Hemi_charger, 2024-02-26

### ***** "Best tune for your bmw trans"
Great maps with custom tuning
-- CJFett535i, 2023-12-15

### ***** "The best transmission tune"
It’s easy to use performance is there and you could feel it all the shift when you tune your transmission XHP
-- Dasher357, 2023-11-08

### ***** "2023 X4 M40i"
One of the best of the many many mods I’ve done to my car. Install is seamless if you follow simple directions, and customer support is always first class. Very highly recommended!
