Plan your shoot, master the light, calculate every exposure — all in one app. — V4: THE BIGGEST UPDATE EVER — What started as an ND filter calculator is now a full planning suite. New AI Calculator powered by Apple Intelligence, an ARKit night-sky view, a map-based sun Planner, Depth of Field & Hyperfocal, Cine ND, Shooting Conditions & Tides, Projects & Captures, Film Reciprocity, Viewfinder Preview — plus huge upgrades to Light Meter, Golden Hour and the Apple Watch app. — AI CALCULATOR (NEW) — Ask any exposure question in plain English. Answers come from the on-device Apple Intelligence model paired with the same Swift math the in-app calculators use, so the numbers always match. • "Silky water at 1/125 f/11?" • "Hyperfocal at 35mm f/8 on APS-C?" • "Cine ND for 1/500 at 30fps, 180 shutter?" • 100% private — your prompts never leave the iPhone • Persistent multi-turn chat — PLANNER (NEW) — A map-based sun planner. Drop a pin (satellite or standard map) and see sunrise, sunset, golden-hour and blue-hour direction lines, the full day's sun arc, and a live current-time sun line. Scrub the timeline through days. Search any location worldwide. — AR NIGHT-SKY (NEW) — ARKit overlay shows where the Sun, Moon and Milky Way (band and galactic core) sit in the real sky. Phase-accurate Moon, azimuth and altitude grid, drag the sky to scrub time. AI Sky Summary advises the best moment for the shot. — DEPTH OF FIELD & HYPERFOCAL (NEW) — Per-sensor accurate DoF and hyperfocal calculator. Interactive 3D focus-range scene shows Near, Hyperfocal and Far at a glance. Metric or imperial. — CINE ND CALCULATOR (NEW) — For video and drone shooters. Frame rate, shutter angle (15 to 360 degrees), metered shutter in — whole-stop ND filter out (ND2, ND4, ND8, ND16 and up). 180-degree rule explained in plain English. — SHOOTING CONDITIONS & TIDES (NEW) — 10-day forecast covering cloud cover, gusts, precipitation timing, humidity, moon, recent rainfall (waterfall-flow guidance), and a full tide chart with high and low markers. — PROJECTS & CAPTURES (NEW) — Save every planning location with solar data, weather and tides. Captures from Light Meter and Viewfinder file straight into projects. Share .xpproj files via AirDrop, Messages or Mail. — FILM RECIPROCITY (NEW) — Reciprocity correction for around 30 stocks (Ilford, Kodak, Fujifilm, Kentmere, Adox, Fomapan, Shanghai) using verified manufacturer data, including Harman's official 2024 v2 factors. — NEW LIGHT METER MODES — Spot, Matrix and Multi-Point metering. Aperture, Shutter, ISO and Cine priority. T-stop, shutter angle and frame rate for cine work. Multi-point shows EV per pin and recommends a graduated ND. — VIEWFINDER PREVIEW (NEW) — Simulate any sensor format and focal length (12 to 600mm) through your iPhone camera.
