Are you one of those cross stitchers who can never keep track of all your FLOSS? This app allows you to keep track of which DMC FLOSS you own. All the nearly 500 DMC colours (including the 27 new ones added in 2002) are shown in easy to access lists, with a colour image of the FLOSS as well as a brief description. A simple tap marks the FLOSS as one you own.
Now includes Anchor, Gentle Arts Sampler Threads (GAST), and Weeks Dye Works (WDW) Threads.
As well, this app allows you to enter a shopping list. Grab your pattern, and add the DMC codes to your shopping list.
Your inventory of FLOSS will always be with you!

XStitcher FAQ
Is XStitcher free?
XStitcher is not free (it costs 1.99), however it doesn't contain in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is XStitcher legit?
🤔 The XStitcher app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
Wonderful tracking floss system that shows the actual colors. Tracker has numbers and names of Anchor / Sampler Gentle Arts / Weeks Dye Works / DMC Reg and Special. This App has lasted thru every Apple update and I hope it continues!!
Perfect for inventory and shopping list!
I absolutely LOVE this app. It keeps me so organized and prevents accidental duplicate floss purchases. I also adore the shopping list feature. I can only hope the developer will keep updating the inventory list as DMC releases additional colors.
Great organization
Great App for organization, as long as YOU use it and YOU keep it updated. My only suggestions would be a full size view of the floss list when your in a project, instead of that little window. Also, showing the quantity of skeins in your stash, instead of just in inventory.
Sorry I wasted my money and time.
I have this on another iPad but on this iPad I am not able to add the necessary info for my latest project. GVH1!
Still trying to figure it out
I think this will be a good app for me to use but there are a couple of things I can’t figure out. The main thing is that when I type in the project name, the name doesn’t show up (I guess the font color is white) so I can’t sort my threads by project. Is there a way to correct that?
Inventory & shopping list issues persist
This app is a waste of money. See previous reviews by other users about the issues when adding colors you have to the shopping list. There’s also no way to remove a color from the shopping list, even if you set the quantity needed to 0.
Pretty great app
I love this app! It keeps track of all my floss so if I’m ever wondering if I need to purchase something all I have to do is look at my iPhone. The only problem is, it doesn’t back up so when there is an update to the iPhone you lose all your info and have to input it again. Please fix this problem! If the iPhone can’t back it up, please make it so the data can be sent to drop box!
Expand, please!
I really like how the app currently works.
I would love more brands to be loaded.
I am also looking for a way to link threads to a certain project. (E.g. 5 of my current supply of 310 go to the XYZ project. I need 3 more XXX for the XYZ project)
Love it!
I’ve had this app for 4 years and love it! It has gotten better with age. :). Thanks.
Update suggestion
I really appreciate this app. A couple ideas for the next update:
1. Allow for putting in a partial amount of a skein in the system—like 0.2. As of now if I do that it changes it to 0 once I navigate out of that part of the app.
2. Add a way to quickly look at which project(s) the color is currently being used in. So far I haven’t figured out a way to do that.
Thanks for this great tool otherwise!
