Yesterday For Old Reddit

Tras instalar la extensión, cada página de Reddit se mostrará como old.reddit. Además, la extensión tiene una función para adaptar la página a la pantalla del móvil, para que sea más fácil de leer en pantallas más pequeñas. Además cuenta con opción de modo noche. El desarrollador, Ritinkar, es muy atento, solucionando cualquier problema en pocos días, y actualmente funciona muy bien. Extensión muy recomendable. Wether you miss old Reddit, or you just miss Apollo and don’t want to try another app, this extension is excellent for reading and using Reddit on Safari. It loads the old.reddit version, without any clutter, and it also allows you to enable a mobile mode to read more easily on smaller screens. Also, there’s a Dark Mode. In addition to that, Ritinkar the developer is very kind and solves any kind of bug in a matter of days. At this point the extension is very polished and works really well. I recommend it!

Si sigues siendo un entusiasta del viejo Reddit, pero te molesta la nueva interfaz. Si añoras Apollo pero te conformas con una versión web simplificada en Safari. Si quieres leer o incluso participar en Reddit sin necesidad de apps de terceros, esta extensión es para ti. Adapta la interfaz de Reddit en Safari para el dispositivo que estés usando (iPhone, iPad o mac), eliminando distracciones y recuperando el estilo original de Reddit. Además, el soporte de Ritinkar, su desarrollador, es excelente ante cualquier bug o problema. Ahora mismo la extensión funciona muy bien, y la recomiendo a todo el mundo. Excellent extension to read Reddit as it was originally, adapted to the device screen (iPhone, iPad or mac), and removing any distractions. Also the feedback and support from Ritinkar, the developer, Is excellent. I recommend this extension if you want to get rid of third party apps, or you just hate the new Reddit layout as much as everyone else.

Edit 4/22/24: Not even 2 weeks after my original review, the developer added the feature I requested- and unsurprisingly it works flawlessly! If anyone needs me, I will be singing this app’s praises from the hilltops. Original review 4/10/24 (5 stars): It’s WILD how much this has improved my reddit experience. Does what it says, does it well, and offers a good amount of customization options. I would love to be able to skip back to the top level parent comment as opposed to just the child-level comment’s previous child-level parent; currently it seems like you just have to keep tapping “parent” until you reach the top level comment, although I may be missing something? Regardless, I wholeheartedly recommend this app, it is a freaking godsend!

This extension rocks. Somehow it disappeared from my device when I upgraded to iOS 17.4 and I had to go back to my purchase history to remember the name of it and redownload it.

Absolutely one of my favorite Safari utilities. Apple makes getting to its Setting page unnecessarily laborious, but once you’ve set it up the way you like, you’ll have tons of quality of life improvement on mobile. I would love even more options like hiding votes to reclaim horizontal space, but that would just be extra gravy. Worth it. Go get it. Thank you, creator!

I like the old Reddit layout, but I also wanted dark mode support. This extension provided that and much more. - Converts URLs that don't include the 'old' prefix to the old layout. - Makes navigating comments really easy. - offers some nice mobile options All that and a very responsive dev. I loved it on my iPad, but had an issue on my Mac. Sent the dev and received a reply same-day, including troubleshooting steps which straightened out the problem. Great experience!

Sometimes you wonder to yourself “why someone doesn’t do something eg create a way to format old Reddit to be readable on mobile?” Then you find out it exists! Nice job. The quality of Reddit will not be improved by this app unfortunately, and I question how long they allow old.Reddit to exist, but for a one time fee this is just what I needed for however long we have left.
