## Yesterdays Description
Hi! Yesterdays is a simple, privacy-centric memory tracker. Use it to write down and remember those sayings, thoughts, or feelings you might otherwise forget.

- Private by Design: All your data is either stored on device or in a private iCloud container if you've got an Apple ID.
- Simple: No bloat. Fast. Just write and remember.
- Synced Automatically: No account creation needed. If you're signed in with the same Apple ID on multiple iOS devices, everything will just sync.
- Photos & Audio: add them to your memories, or don't! The choice is yours.
- Face ID / Touch ID: add some extra protection from prying eyes.
- Randomized Nostalgia Trip: At the press of a button, view five random memories from your collection.
- Widget: Show a random memory on your home screen, shuffled every so often.
- Writing Reminders: get nudged to jot down a memory every week (ish).
- Tags: Tag your memories to find them easily later and easily keep track of people, ages, dates, or themes
- Import: Bring your previous memories with you via CSV import. Share text, photos, or audio into Yesterdays via the system share sheet.
- Export anytime: Take your memories with you in the form of a very compatible .csv file. Individually share memory text, photos, or audio as well.
- Premium users can customize the font and app icon.

This app is so cool and so intuitive and simple, yet SO POWERFUL! I’ve been looking for an app that does exactly this and it was so hard to find!

You can log events quickly and then categorize them. I love how fast you can filter by tags. I love the gradient on the items based on tags. I love the import and export feature. I can tell the developer has put lots of love into this app. Thank you so much!!

I would love to see a lifetime option but I also know that the subscription is well worth it and a great price for the value 😊

### ***** "Simple, private, searchable"
I like this app! I also have Apple’s Journal app, which I have used several times. But I like three things about Yesterdays— 1) it’s simple (type stuff, keep photos, add tags or not). No account except Apple ID, no credit card, etc; 2) it’s private (think Facebook without Facebook); 3) it’s searchable (if you put in tags). Which is one feature Apple’s Journal doesn’t have. I also use this developer’s app, Defer, which is like a quick note-taking space for things I can then sort to different apps later. This guy is on to something and I like his approach. I did purchase the yearly sub for Yesterdays, but not for Defer yet.

As a dad I’ve used several apps to write down things my kids said - Evernote, Ulysses, Notion, Obsidian. But this is actually simple enough that it keeps me going, and the entries aren’t mixed in with all my other writing. Importing/exporting is clutch.

I love the intention of this app! Such a great way to slow down and remember the important moments in life we might otherwise forget if not written down. I love the ability to tag people and add photos. I also really appreciate the privacy aspect of this app, makes me feel comfortable writing stories about my kids that I wouldn’t do on other apps. Such a great user experience, so simple to interact with, very smart design!
