Every time I try to open the camera, I’m forced to watch a sketchy casino ad or other questionable content, sometimes twice in a row. I’m getting rid of my cameras. Shame on the YI Home team.

At the moment, this is my biggest disappointment. I used to recommend this app and these cameras to everyone and really enjoyed using them. But every year, it gets worse and worse.

When I get a motion alert near the door and try to open the app to see what’s going on, there’s an endless stream of ads, notifications, and so on. The app itself starts lagging. It’s also impossible to rewind and watch what happened before — it keeps crashing and glitching all the time.

I do not recommend it. I’m already looking for new cameras and a new app. I’ll be getting rid of these. I would never recommend them to anyone again — in fact, I’ll warn people against them.




Upgrade:


So you’re offering me an ad-free plan for only three days, and then you start charging me? Seriously? The regular version has become almost unusable because of the overwhelming amount of ads you added — and now you’re calling this a “free exclusive plan”? That feels more like a forced upgrade than a real benefit.

Неуместная реклама которая не дает пройти дальше , всплывающие Банеры закрывают рабочие кнопки, если посмотреть историю обновлений приложения то можно увидеть работу только в направлении «облака». Камеру невозможно подключить через другое приложение кроме оригинального, а оригинальное приложение просто ужасное ! Косое , кривое и убитое встроенной рекламой каких то игр и попыткой подсолить пользователей на оплату онлайн облака.

I bought their camera, it works fine, but the app is an insane ads spammer… When you open app, you have to wait for the end of full screen advertising… Home screen is full in ads, when you open camera screen - ads everywhere. Also it automatically opens ads! Apple must moderate this disgusting ads spamming apps, because it doesn’t allow to use main app features… ((
I will never buy their products again…

Пришло время менять камеры Yi после долгих лет работы - сейчас это просто ужас с этой постоянной рекламой и это заставило меня покупать другие камеры, уже жду посылку с новыми камерами, а Yi надо продать и забыть как страшный сон! 
Камеры хорошие но сплошная реклама убила эти камеры!
Думаю это их последний вздох - скоро эта компания прекратит существование , новые устройства уже давно не производят , ассортимент стал очень маленький и на последних вздохах они пытаются выжать максимум денег с потребителей потому, что они понимают что это конец и будущего у них нет, и им плевать на потребителя , им нужно максимум получить денег из того что осталось еще работать на данный момент, перед уходом с рынка!
Мой совет - продавайте эти камеры
У уже потому , что скоро они станут
просто кирпичом и никому не нужны

Yi Home app is almost impossible to use because of the endless ads and constant pop-ups pushing for a subscription. This is supposed to be a security camera app — for cameras I already paid for — not an advertising platform.

On top of that, charging more than $100 per year for a subscription is ridiculous. Basic features that should be available to camera owners are locked behind an overpriced paywall. It feels like the developers intentionally ruin the user experience just to force people into paying.

Instead of being a reliable tool for home security, this app has turned into a frustrating money grab.

Під час завантаження додатку і між переглядами постійна реклама, яку неможливо вимкнути і яку нема ні бажання ні можливості купувати у вигляді платних пакетів. Було б логічно придбати пакет, якщо б камера надавалась безкоштовною, але ж за неї сплачувались гроші! При навʼязливій і платній рекламі не рекомендую. В іншому разі ок. P.s.: Пропонуйте купувати пакет в разі повернення коштів за камери.
