Avoid this
I bought and regret already. You should connect online and create an account. Terms of privacy are such that cannot be accepted. Connection is not safe. Good idea, but unfortunately implementation is poor.
Great app and camera
I bought outside WiFi camera which came with this app. Using it now for 3 weeks. The camera works great and the app as well. App has a lot of features: person detection, alerts, recording only when movement detected, etc. You can install the sd memory card in camera and save all the videos locally so you don’t need to subscribe for their server. The app gives you access to the videos saved in sd card, so you can see your recordings from anywhere. Great app!!!
Sell your camera as soon as you can, it gets less working all the time
Basically the camera that comes with this app is not working without the app. So as soon as the company goes bankrupt or stops otherwise, all connected cameras become paperweights. There is no way to access the camera other than with the app. That sucks. Further and most irritating is the limited functionality of the app without paying for a subscription. Therefore the buying if this camera does not give you ownership, it gives you the possibility of an expensive subscription and nothing else. Never ever buy a camera that only works with cloud based systems, make sure your camera at least is Onvif compliant. If it is not, bring it back!!! This camera sends its images to a server in hongkong or other place in china, including the password of your wifi. If you never were paranoid about being spied upon, now you will, with good reason. There is no way to configure this camera for offline (intranet only) use...

Worst security app, filled with advertisements. With limited functionality unless you are on subscription.
Can’t cancel my subscription
Disappointed with customer service charge my credit card 3 times and didn’t refund after I emailed customer support multiple time
