I bought this camera about three months ago. I already purchased a good memory card to avoid problems, but the app keeps sending messages trying to sell the cloud service. After some time, the memory card got damaged. I bought another one and solved the issue. Last month, the app was sending a lot of ads. And today, the camera app completely stopped working. This is absurd, just like a scam.
App only records for a six seconds of motion detection incident. Also only catches tail of the person walking on the camera. So you never really get any benefits.
Notifications are very slow. You have to pass through several times in front of the camera to get notifications and recordings. Some recording had big gap on it. Glitches present in between videos.
Used to love using the app but they recently added ads for people whho do not pay for cloud services. Greedy!
You cannot even watch anything until they force you to buy cloud. Useless app and camera
With the latest app update we are no longer able to store alerts on the sd card, it forces you to pay for cloud storage! This has made me very angry and I will be looking for a new camera! Also your support is non existent, there is no option to contact anyone, why? Stay away from this company
If you are purchasing this cam only to use the SD card then don’t bother. When I press record or take photos, you are lucky if 1 out of every 20 attempts to record ends up on the SD card. I have tried multiple brands of SD cards and they all show the same result. It seems this supplier only sells this cam to force you to sign up for their cloud storage services. And thats also where the SD location button sits however when i click it the app stops working and switches off. Waste of money.
Can’t even activate my account as don’t receive the activation email, tried multiple addresses. Don’t waste time with a camera that uses this app
Fantastic system and great quality!!
I bought two of these cameras and recommended them to family and friends. However the latest update has resulted in advertisements being forced on you unless you subscribe to their cloud service. This is a scam. I have sd cards in the cameras and don’t need their cloud service. Avoid this app and igeek cameras.
