## YieldGimp Reviews in United Kingdom

### *---- "Spot on!"
Love this app. A really useful tool for the private investor. One request - an ability to store your nominal holdings and see your latest MV and cashflow profile!

Update: Wow - thanks for building the holdings function in that’s awesome and look forward to the cashflow projection ;)
One note - the cash holdings aren’t persistent and get lost once you leave the page and re-enter. Thanks again!

Update 2: £1pm may have been defensible but £3pm feels too steep…

### *---- "Now too expensive…"
Liked the app didn’t use much of the functionality just wanted to be able to see current pricing and a little history. Was recommending it to many other. Developer Has now switched to a monthly charge £3 which won’t be paying and will source the prices I need elsewhere for my infrequent use. Shame was quite good before that. Would logically think anyone who needed realtime frequent access would have Bloomberg etc, not this app, so for infrequent users I think they’ve judged this wrong. As another user said £1 per month I would have paid, £3 feels too much for my use case.

### ***-- "Too expensive"
They’ve added a subscription, for which I don’t blame them, but it’s simply too expensive for what it is. If it were 79p or £1 a month I wouldn’t have even hesitated, but £3/month is too much. I’ll get an AI chatbot to write me an excel formula to calculate the yield in 10 mins for free instead. What a shame.

### *---- "App cannot reset password"
App now forces login, which is a minor nuisance. But a much bigger nuisance is that it repeatedly logs me out and the reset password function doesn’t work. Now logged out and starting to get a bit bored of attempts to use the app and website
-- Tommy Lambeth, 2025-06-01

### *---- "Now requires account"
Needlessly collects your email and requires an account. Shame, will find an alternative.
-- rich33633, 2025-05-26

### *---- "Forces login"
Laughable that you now need to create an account to use the app and give an email address. Decided to just uninstall.
-- ab9899, 2025-05-22

### *---- "Why remove the website’s functionality?"
Super useful, but the website now forces you to install the app, which is a regression in functionality.

### ***** "Love it"
I love it in principle however please make it easy to see grossed up return as it’s my fav number, ideally I’d sort by it. Now it’s not online as a grid I’m not sure id have found it as easy to make the decisions I did
-- Smck2012, 2025-04-22

### ***** "PA saviour"
Massive thanks to the developer for bringing this app to the world. It is to my PA what gin is to tonic.
