## YMCA LA Reviews in United States

### *---- "Garbage"
Every aspect of this app seems to be designed to frustrate the user. First, it won’t take a new password if you changed it on the website. Second, if you search for an activity, it will not come up unless you pick the day the activity is on. But if you knew the day the activity was on, you wouldn’t need to search for it, would you?
-- Gaidzag Chukudnassian, 2025-10-25

### *---- "Useless for updated schedule"
If you’re hoping that this app has an updated schedule for upcoming events at the facility, good luck. And if you call the front desk for an answer, pray to the heavens it’s not one of the teenage volunteers that are rude and don’t have a clue of anything that goes on over there. This app is only useful for checking into the facility.
-- Sateliite, 2025-05-24

### *---- "App borking trying to reserve"
Currently cannot reserve swim lanes - app say cannot retrieve family data
-- Guern_in_LA, 2025-03-29

### *---- "Does not work at night"
Laggy, logs out randomly. Doesn’t work at night so you can’t edit classes.
Classes fill up right away, just wish we didn’t need to use this terrible app anymore and it were first come first serve again.
-- MadPotato08, 2025-03-16

### *---- "Please mate in this app a bit better for members and staff"
I would like to see this application a little better maintained if possible . It seems to very sluggish when making reservations . For a few weeks it wouldn’t show reservation complete , when you were finally able to ‘reserve ‘ it doesn’t show when a swim lane is full until after you try to reserve a spot . The app doesn’t auto refresh .

There are instances where the app is down either maybe because of poor network connectivity , the weather or something else . Always seeing errors : unable to get class data , unable to get equipment data etc please work on fixing this app. If you want members to make exclusive use of this platform . Not to mention there always seems to be “ missed “ check ins .
-- marissolaun27, 2025-03-14

### *---- "Glitchy"
Please fix this app as it is so convenient when trying to stay consistent . The classes are not showing up, it’s buffering incessantly, I can’t cancel a class or jump on a waitlist… AAAARGGGHHH!
-- llamamamalashes, 2025-01-30

### *---- "New Member"
I wish I could give zero stars. Since December 13 I have been trying to login to this awfully dysfunctional app. I have no issues logging into my account online but i can't do the same on this dysfunctional app. It's a shame not to be able to have a decent working app. very frustrating. I cant use the gym because of this disaster app
-- Katoo-Katoo, 2025-01-08

### *---- "Deleted after 5 minutes"
I signed up for a Y membership a few days ago and just tried out the app. My email address tied to my account couldn’t be found, and when trying to sync my name with my account, the load spinner just spins and then the app times out and doesn’t do anything. What a trash app for such a large organization.
-- diamond_manos, 2024-12-04

### *---- "User Hostile"
This is the only way that you can book Services or classes and it is extremely user hostile. When an app has a rating under 2 (1.8 for this app) you would THINK the business would get on the developers to address issues that most people seem to have. In this case, not so much.
-- Rants-n-Raves, 2024-06-21

### ***** "So far it’s great"
I had very low expectations for this app based on reviews. I just joined the Y and this app works great. Classes do fill up fast but the trick is to sign up a week and and hour before the date and time of the class to reserve a spot. The app will even add the class to your calendar! I’m impressed!
