### ****- "The Best Budgeting Tool — But Not for Everyone"
(YNAB) is hands down one of the most effective budgeting apps available today. Its envelope-style method, intuitive interface, and emphasis on proactive money management truly help users gain control over their finances. 

However, it’s disheartening to see that YNAB still doesn’t offer regional pricing or any form of purchasing power parity. For users in countries like India, the $99/year subscription becomes prohibitively expensive due to the currency conversion and lower average income levels. Despite its global user base, this lack of inclusive pricing prevents many from accessing a tool that could genuinely improve their financial health.

YNAB is brilliant in design and function — it just needs to be more financially accessible to fulfill its mission for everyone, everywhere

This is a budgeting app in true sense where in you can assign your money to your planned expenses. Other so called budgeting apps are just expense tracker but here you are suggested to plan ahead before spending the money. Hence in true sense you can save money & not just track your expenses. The platform has a learning curve but once you get the hang of it (which is pretty basic to be honest), you will fall in love with budgeting and money management.

People outside US  cant use key features like bank sync and apple card integration etc but still they have to pay for it. And the subscription charge is directly converted to other currencies from USD without considering PPP. Atleast they should have another tier of subscription for people who doesn't have the access to the features.

Functionality wise there is no competition to YNAB.

The App is great overall ! The only thing missing is the reports page is very simple in the mobile app and we can’t analyse anything there. It would be much better if it showed information just like in the desktop site. Please work on it as we need to analyse our spendings in the mobile app. Thanks !

This isn’t a review about the current version of the app, but YNAB as a service. I’ve used many expense trackers, but that’s where you go wrong if you want to manage your money. Because that’s reactive.

You need YNAB because it’s proactive and forces you to think about how you’re going to spend your money beforehand. And help you manage if you deflect from your plans.

I wish it had a PPP pricing plans thought. But it’s best damn budgeting app out there. Devs/Designers are responsive and app gets new features very often.

YNAB is the app which i was looking for since 3-4 yr and finally my search for the app ended here. It has all the functionalities which i wanted in an app starting from budgeting to expense tracking including future expenses. It’s helped me to break the “Paycheck to paycheck” cycle. Highly recommended one.

Only thing I felt it’s lacking is the chart and report in mobile app. I have to use the web application for pulling the report.
