It's not specified anywhere on the appstore page that there isn't a way to use it without paying for the subscription. No, it doesn't have "in-app purchases". The entire app has to be purchased. BS.
What if you allow to set period for budgeting, let's say 2 weeks, and you can see how much of budgeted cash is left for a fixed period per everyday? It is convenient, for example when you want to check your daily budget.
I’ve explored three of the major personal finance apps over the years. I have been using YNAB the past several months and have found the perfect fit for me! YNAB is very user friendly, clearly displays what I need to see as I go about my day, and the customer support and tutorial material is second to none (and actually enjoyable to watch!). It took me about a month to learn the nuances of the app, and now it takes very little time to manage. I highly recommend YNAB for those who want to manage their money without having to be a financial expert (and even for those who are!) — A very happy YNAB’er
YNAB used to be amazing. It was customizable to make it individual and efficient. Since they went subscription based, inefficient changes are forced that you have no way to avoid. I used to recommend it to everyone! Unfortunately, problems are not fixed and UI changes are not customizable.

I’ve used YNAB since 2017. The new reordering of accounts and grouping within the account type is NOT APPRECIATED. I do not need or want to see my 20 cash accounts before my credit card accounts. NOT APPRECIATED.
Stop messing with the UI.
My wife and I have been using YNAB for years and it works great. I really connect with the YNAB methodology a lot more than Ramsey methodology. This app just works. If you are having a hard time setting it up contact them or hire one of their YNAB coaches. It isn’t cheap, but the money we’ve saved because the app helps keep us on track is significantly more than we pay for the app.
Can I seriously not move the new grouping of credit accounts above the cash account list?
