For my understanding they don’t really fully support if someone has spendy or accounts in more than one currency, i need excel to combine the different YNAB plans. Otherswise its working well and is easy to navigate without overloading the app with ton’s of functionalities.

Lorsque j'ai commencé à utiliser YNAB, j'appréciais la simplicité et l'ergonomie de l'application. Avec les dernières mises à jour, il y a eu trop de changements et de nouvelles fonctions superflus.

En particulier, je trouve l'onglet "home" totalement inutile. Je préférais avoir directement le budget en ouvrant l'application.

En plus, désormais, le bouton pour saisir les transaction n'est accessible que depuis l'onglet "home". Cela rajoute un clic à chaque fois que l'on se trouve dans un autre onglet.

Enfin je trouve dommage d'avoir renommé "budget" en "plan". C'était plus en lien avec le nom de l'application

Autant, précédemment j'ai apprécié certaines améliorations comme les l'amélioration des graphiques ou la géolocalisation des commerces, autant les 2-3 dernières mises à jour m'agacent et je ne trouve pas les nouvelles fonctions utiles et leur implémentation est très discutable.

Jusqu'à l'année dernière j'ai accepté les augmentations de prix, parce que l'application était bien. Si cette année le tarif devait de nouveau augmenter, je chercherai une alternative. Je ne suis pas prêt à payer pour la dégradation d'un produit...

I use unlinked accounts so my transactions stay uncleared until I reconcile them once a month. Now in the list of transactions I have a super prominent badge saying “uncleared” on every line. I consult this list to see what I spent today and I have entered everything, I don’t want to read “uncleared” on every line. Guys, do you really think this information is really deserving so important and visually heavy spot on each line in transaction screen?

Also this new “Show N uncleared transactions” banner moved the first transaction down by like 10% of the screen. Every single active user is opening the screen to check their transactions. Are you sure everyone cares so much about the number of uncleared transactions and wishes a huge full-width button to filter the list? 

It’s funny you mention Marie Kondo in the release notes. She is strongly advocating against adding unnecessary stuff, which is exactly what you started to do.

I hope you will reconsider your latest UI choices.

I have setup a shortcut that whenever i pay with NFC via Apple Pay the amount and the payee is passed into ynab to add transaction.
Problem is if the payee does not exist, i am not able to hit + button to add it.
Ynab prompts me with an error message: oops ynab encountered an issue please close the app. This is annoying i just want that if the payee does not exist it gets created automatically

I’ve been using YNAB since it started as a MAC application and I have never been disappointed. It’s a great and easy software and method to track your budget across multiple devices. The only thing that would make it perfect would be the capability to manage multiple currencies due to the fact that living In Switzerland, I use CHF and EUR on a regular basis. I found workarounds but it would be great to have the functionality in the application.
