You can view your savings and mortgage balances and do many of the things you can with YBS online banking, whenever and wherever you need it. How do I get started? You’ll need to be registered for online banking with Yorkshire Building Society, and we need your up-to-date mobile number. Once you’ve downloaded the mobile app, it takes just a couple of minutes to set yourself up and get started. * Open the app and enter your YBS online banking login details (customer number), date of birth and three random characters from your online account password. * You’ll receive a text message or phone call from us with your verification code. * Enter this code into the app – You’re registered. It couldn’t be easier. * Next, we’ll ask you to set up Touch ID, Face ID or a six-digit passcode. And that’s it! What are the benefits? * Access – All your savings and mortgage accounts in one view. * Security – Set-up Touch ID, Face ID or a Passcode for secure login. * Monthly Auto-Saver – Save automatically every month with secure recurring payments. * Transfers – Transfer money between your YBS savings accounts or to external accounts. * Payments – Pay bills or settle up with your friends, all you need is their bank account details. * Transaction history & statements – View savings transactions and deposits, and download your statements. * Transaction history – View your savings transactions and deposits. * Search and apply – Find and open a new savings account. * Your profile – Keep your personal details & contact info up to date. It’s very frustrating having to set up biometrics again every few months. ( looks like I’m not the only one - shouldn’t have to reinstall the app every time it happens - subpar frankly).
