Good Application
Very good application tool
Contactless Transactions
Unable to use my card for contactless transactions. Raised the issue with support team for around one month but me resolution yet.
Slow and lackluster support
I got logged out of YouTrip while I was overseas traveling. When I tried to log back in the verification process needed my Singapore number to send the code to, however, I am using pocket WiFi for the trip hence I do not have a local number for the country I’m in. I wanted to use email verification instead but was told by their support staff that the method is having issue and not available to us now. December is the peak holiday period where people would be traveling and likely relies on multicurrency cards like YouTrip, so I think it is ridiculous that the various verification methods are not being maintained and avail to us with urgency. Support staff replied slow, and each time they were telling me the same thing which is to use a local number instead, which I have repeatedly told them I do not have. I think my luck would have been better speaking to chatgpt that remembers the conversation.

Unhelpful to use this overseas when I have little roaming data for updating the app
Non functional alternative email verification
Was stuck in Europe using e-sim and was not able to use the app at all as email verification was not working! A total waste of time just communicating with the support team which took more than 3 weeks and problem remained unresolved. Use at own risk of not being able to get cash when you need most.
Most terrible
Cannot login. Called support and they advised me to try again. Followed their instructions and still cannot login. Emailed them and no replies
Low quality card ?
Very problematic card. The chip/sensor is not very sensitive on public transport card reader . Always error/red light. Need to tap long time
Great savings
Never have to worry about forex exchange
Terrible
Tried sending $35 to my dad, didn’t work. App said it will be reversed in 8 days, two weeks later and it is still not in my account. Tried sending a request to the customer service, said a reply will be given in a day. Took 3 days and asked me back for more details of transaction. Very frustrating.
