This app used to be good but their customer service is horrendous. A lot of people started having issues whereby our money gets transferred to them but it doesn’t show up in our accounts. They have consistently avoided our emails or have just left us hanging after telling us that the problem has been fixed even though it hasn’t. Now our money is stuck in limbo and we can’t even get it back. Use other apps instead!
Be very wary of this bank
If you lose your card whilst travelling YouTrip will not send out a replacement.
Their customer service is woeful and dishonest. I have now been waiting for over 6 weeks for them to transfer my balance to my U.K. account. They have deliberately and consistently lied about the transfer. Avoid at all costs!
Issue on Face ID
Although I have enabled Face ID within the app, it automatically brings me to the first user interface - after log out - which requires me to input my phone number so as to receive a one time password (OTP) to log in again. This situation appears several times, so it’s quite annoying. However, the app itself operate functionally and has a clean, easy - to - use interface. #YouTripThailand
Youtrip card
Great solution, easy to use App, however Customer Service isn’t at the level of excellency expected.
Too bad a foreign card transaction (debit foreign card - credit Youtrip foreign currency balance) is not offered. Could boost txn.
good card, bad app
the card works really well, but the app is terrible. if i update it or dont use it for a while, or re-download it, it assumes that i am not an existing user. i have to get an SMS otp, but as i switch phone sims a lot, i end up keying in a number i know won't work so that the "login with email" option will show. there should be an option for existing users to just put in their password when the app opens up.
Horrendous customer service
Good exchange rates and convenience but customer service is slow or non-existent.
Customer service is during office hours in Singapore time which makes little sense when this app is for overseas travel and people in different time zones. I could only get replies on weekdays which were of little help, long after problems faced on weekend trips when the app is used most.
Email log in service, also, for some reason, does not function on weekends if you’re logged out of your account due to inactivity leaving you stranded. To which, after sending in a customer service request, did not answer my questions or help me re-log in and declared my enquiry closed after telling me to check my junk mail.
Good rates extremely buggy
App constantly crashes, my top ups been pending for 8+ hours payed and yet to become available, keep getting kicked out and asked to login.. Great concept really bad execution 😓
Poor customer service
A superb card (money changer on the go), with indeed the best rates in town.
BUT the customer service is atrocious and almost non-existent! It’s virtually impossible to get a response from them through email or hotline.
