App is not use friendly for podcasts

We are forced to use this app for podcasts but it is not at all user friendly. Firstly, it is inconvenient to view the downloaded/saved podcasts. Secondly, you cannot see when you have completed a podcast, and so, it is difficult to keep track of them. Thirdly, the search for both podcasts and music together is so cluttered and ugly. Fourthly, if you can double click to like a podcast, how can you undo that (the thumbs up/thumbs down buttons did not work for me)? Why not just have a tab exclusively for podcasts which have the same features as the old app? Maybe replace the "Samples" tab, which is, personally, never used.

After playing a track for 2 seconds, it automatically stops. Why?

Terrible search and UX

The old Google podcasts app actually had a working search function. Search results are terrible with this app, with even the top 2-3 hits on the old app or Apple’s app not appearing here. Navigation is atrocious, the UX is terrible and it just takes a lot longer to navigate and get to the show. Time to find an alternative to yet another Google service.

i’ve spent hours looking through different solutions, but my playlists never manage to be downloaded

Volume control from Apple Watch suddenly not possible anymore?

Happy user of this app for long time. Love the control from the watch, skipping, like, volume etc while playing songs from the iPhone. But… since few days lost volume control from my watch. Maybe last watch OS update to 10.4?

Just one thing missing in the app , which is the equaliser If have that complete good app , hope YouTube team will look in to and do an update

Wonderful but also a bit disappointed

1. I love how we can repeat the songs with a button 2. Love that we can do almost everything 3. Really love the fact that we can see the video as we listen to the song 4. We can make our own queue Disappointed: 1. Can’t upload your own profile picture for our playlists 2. We have to search repetitively to see what we like

Literally better than spotify in terms of lyric coverage

Really love how you can click on lyrics to jump to that point!! However it’ll be better if videos can be “converted” into songs more seamlessly, for example the yoasobi tabun music video should be able to direct you to the song version even though i only added the video to the playlist, if not it is one of the best music players! BUT-BUTTT there are too many ads and making the music pause upon app leave instead of upon screen off is a bit too over and its a real bummer, enough for me to delete the app and change my review down to 2 stars, absolutely hate apps that are absolutely unusable in the free tier
