* The Yubico Authenticator will work with any USB, Lightning, or NFC-enabled YubiKeys.
* As iPads do not have NFC, they will only work through a Lightning or USB connection.

The Yubico Authenticator generates a code used to verify your identity as you are logging into various services. No connectivity needed!

I’d love to make more use of my Yubikey, but the app developers need to invest a bit of time into making their app feel at home within iOS 26’s design language so it doesn’t stand out like a sore thumb, one I’m keen to hide in a folder as opposed to integrating into my workflow. The app icon should be flexible enough to become an adaptive dark mode version when the OS calls for it. Will rate five stars once fixed.

Wow. Just wow. I couldn’t get this to work on my android. So I bought an iPhone 17 (for this among other reasons). And it won’t work on IOS either! “The requested functionality is missing or disabled on this yubikey”. What the hell, man! Really?!

I’ve never been able to get my BIO key to be read by this app on my iPad Pro or my iPhone 16 Pro Max.  My key itself does work when I attempt to use it on both devices, I just can’t manage it on them.

Yubikey 5 NFC. What’s disappointing is that it only shows you time-based authentication codes.  
Why can’t the key be used for actual authentication?  Ridiculous. Why can’t I just press the key and away we go? Also where is the Yubikey Manager app for iPhone? Come on now.
