Yuka established a database that contains 3 million food products and 2 million cosmetic products.
Each food product is evaluated according to 3 objective criteria: nutritional quality, presence of additives and organic aspect of the product.
The method to analyse cosmetic products is based on the analysis of all the ingredients of the product. Each ingredient is assigned a risk level according to the latest scientific data.

You can choose a Yuka Premium subscription at £15/year to access a search bar, an offline mode, and unlimited history.
Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription will renew automatically 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the same price. You can cancel your subscription at any time by going to your App Store account settings.

Brilliant & helpful App Amazing & the nicest customer service.
I have never written an App review before but I just had to for this Brilliant App & not just for the App which is easy to use & full of information you need to keep you & your family safe, for Yuka as a company which has the best customer service. I replied to a the nicest automated welcome id ever received, just to say thank you(I’m nuts, I know)I didn’t expect a reply, their response was so kind & has truly helped me & my family out especially because my mother in law has cancer. I don’t have to google every ingredient that are so long I can’t actually say or spell them anymore. I hate promotional emails but Yuka focuses on heath & safety, with brilliant papers & resources. Thank you to Ileana & the rest of the Yuka Team✨🫶✨ You’re the real Super Stars.

Worth installing
It’s a very good companion app if you really care what are you eating, when you install make sure you turn on newsletter to. Julie it’s a very nice person, and it’s sending newsletters occasionally
Brilliant
This APP is absolutely perfect for looking at what you are eating. There are 4 categories, excellent, good, poor and bad these reflect additives, sugar, salt, fats and more. It shows you what the additives are and how they hard your body and much more. I took it to the supermarket and couldn’t believe how some foods are so bad for you !!!!!!
Eye opening
This app changed the way I view my cosmetics and my food! Really educational and helpful.
It’s not all that
This app is good but sometimes it isn’t accurate as I would like it to be, you can only scan so many times until its stops you which is a bit usss less and you can’t search the brand you have to be a member to do it which I find annoying!
This app is going to revolutionise my eating
Thanks to a recommendation from my son, I downloaded this app, and now scan everything. I am desperately trying to eat more healthily due to a number of factors, and this app is a game changer. May I humbly suggest, that if you can use this app you may be interested in a book about Ultra Processed Food called Ultra Processed People. Your weekly shop will never be the same. This is one app I will use multiple times a day. Thank you developers 😘
Love this app but it could be amazing
I love this app and use it all the time. It would be a brilliant addition to the app if you could search for additives/ ingredients for this products that have not yet been added to the app. I regularly find some products that are not on the app and I end up googling particular ingredients to check if they are harmful but would be a great addition to this app
