How much does Yuka cost?
Yuka has several in-app purchases/subscriptions, the average in-app price is $40.00.
This app has transformed the way I shop in a very positive way. It has been very difficult for consumers to know what is a safe product to use. The cards are stacked in favour of the businesses that produce the products. The information on Yuka is unbiased and well researched and clearly outlined. I have unhesitatingly recommended it to family and friends. This is information so worth having to inform your choices.
Great app for health
I love that when you scan a product, it has all the relevant info regarding nutritional content etc but also detailed links for the additives.
The recommended products are great for making decisions about buying products, it’s amazing how much rubbish is in the products we consume!
YUKA IS THE BEST
Yuka is a great app for people or animals that have severe allergies in both food and skincare.
If you have diabetes it’s great to see how many carbs and sugar it has so you can eat it safely without worrying.
It’s also great because if you get bad acne or breakouts you can see what is causing it. It also gives you recommendations for better products for your skin.
Another great thing about Yuka is that it’s free!!!
It also helps if your shopping and like to see wants in your products before you buy it, especially for younger skin.
So Yuka is the best app!!!💕🌸🤪🧴
👍 So easy to use
Hands down best food scanner app I’ve used. The easier the better. Love the app
Yuka: A Seamless Game-Changer for Conscious Consumers
Using Yuka has been a truly seamless experience. The app is incredibly easy to navigate, making it a joy to use for anyone looking to make healthier, more informed choices about food and beauty products.
What sets Yuka apart is its standout features: detailed product ratings, alternative suggestions, and source links that explain exactly how the ratings are determined. I also love that anyone can submit new products for review. The information provided feels truthful, factual, and reliable, which is so important.
Since I started using Yuka, my shopping habits have seen significant improvements. It has genuinely helped me make better choices and feel more confident about the products I bring into my home. Compared to similar apps, Yuka is leagues ahead of the competition, both in functionality and reliability.
The app’s design is another highlight—it’s clean, easy to use, and visually appealing. While I don’t see much room for improvement right now, I’m always excited to see how the app continues to evolve.
I opted for the premium version because I believe in supporting the kind of change I want to see in the world. To me, it’s worth the investment, though I admit that if the cost were much higher, it might be harder to justify.
Overall, I can’t recommend Yuka enough. I’d give it an 11/10 and have already recommended it to friends and family, who use it daily as well. Yuka, keep doing what you’re doing and thank you for creating this amazing app!
So easy!
Have been using this app for a couple of weeks; I’m finding it quick and really useful when shopping!
Easy to use, however there is a problem with measurements.
The graphs are easy to understand, and I like the UI. The scanning process is flawless.
However, some products have the measurements messed up (e.g. 100g on a product shows as 100ml on the app), which can make a huge difference. Even after I tried to correct it by using the “reporting a problem” feature, and took a photo of the nutrition information which shows that a product has a serving size of 100g and not 100ml, it stayed the same.
My guess is that the app assumes all “drink” products are measured in ml on the app, even though some “drink” products in real life are measured in grams.
There is also a problem where some products are measured extra, for example one shows data for 100g where the actual product has 30g and a serving size of 2.5g.
I think there should be a way to correct the serving size of products shown in the app with the same method as the “reporting a problem” feature. This would fix the incorrect serving sizes, and give the products a fairer rating.
I tell everyone about this app
Love this app so much and is used so much. I just wish it had more good reviews as it could be really comprehensive app!
Yuka
