## YUNMAI Description
Connecting YUNMAI App and their smart device (Smart Scale, Smart Rope), user's data could be storaged and analysised through YUNMAI Health Data Cloud. Ten body measurements, such as weight, body fat, muscle, body water, bone mass will be generated as brief report. The Smart Rope can record the number and duration of rope skipping, with a variety of training and challenge modes for you to choose. You will enjoy a more intelligent and more interesting healthy life with YUNMAI App!

【Main function】
【Smart Scale】It can detect 10 types of body data to get a thorough understanding of yourself
-Data trend: Based on your weight and body fat, a data curve is automatically generated, you can see the changes in your body at a glance.
-Family management: It can record the data for up to 16 users, which is very suitable for family use.
【Smart Rope】 It can record automatically the number and duration of rope skipping and generate a chart at the same time to present your exercise results more intuitively.

HealthKit 
YUNMAI can share the data of each weighing (BMI, Body fat%, weight, LBM, weight, height) of users of the Smart Scale with Apple Health.
1. As your privacy is very important, after you weigh yourself for the first time, YUNMAI app will show you a message " Whether or not share data with Apple Health ". Or Tap "Connect to Health" on the App's "Me-Settings" page and a message" Whether or not share data with Apple Health " will be displayed.
2. At present, the function "Connect to Health" of YUNMAI App is only compatible with iPhone models from the iPhone 5S onward (iOS10.0 and above), and iPad is not currently supported.

Every time the batteries need changed and I swap them out, the scale resets the pounds/KG and then I have to re-download the app, sign back in, and reset all the controls. Please stop doing this!!!

Update: developers have removed the ad’s.  Seems like we’re back to normal again now so I’ll update the review whilst leaving the old info still here.

Been using this app for literally years, maybe 5 or 6 years at least without one issue. One of the newer updates now runs an invasive advert before I’m able to use the app. That advert is one of those “you have a virus” ad’s. Very poor choice from what has been a great app.

### ***** "Corrected - Poor update with adding Ads"
Update - I had tried to find another way to contact besides leaving a 1 star review.  I’ve changed it to 5 stars because I’m so impressed that a correction was made so quickly and I’m totally able to use the app again for the two user profiles in my household! It shows that you care about the user experience and even if ads are added again they will hopefully not block the functionality that YUNMAI had originally designed. Thank you!

Just launched the app and upon launch it gave me a pop up about my device being infected and I have to “click here” to download antivirus. Reporting to Apple for violation as I’ve had the scale for years without ADs and all of a sudden Virus ADs on launch.

The latest update to the app now shows full screen ads before the app is usable. The ads are also for scams. Sometimes the ads don’t go away and you have to reset the app.

They removed the intrusive ads so now it’s back to being great!

After owning this scale for 3 years, all of a sudden Yunmai starts sending ads to the app after launching the app. This is a paid for scale that never sent ads to the app, but now without any permission, ads come up. Will be reporting this to Apple.

Received a response here from the developer stating they turned off ads. Others have complained about this as well, and the developer told them as well. They turned off the ads. They have not turned off the ads in their app. Ridiculous I would not buy their products. They’re spamming you with ads.

ever since updating to the new version, I get a splash screen basically telling me that my phone is infecting and wanting me to click on something. please remove the virus. Or the ads. I bought the scale to track my weight not to give the manufacturer a way to present dangerous ads to me every time I use it. don’t buy Yunmai  scales unless you’d like dangerous ads from shady venders!

This app used to be simple and effective for tracking my weight and health, but now it’s completely ruined by intrusive ads. The moment you open the app, you’re greeted with ads instead of your data. It’s frustrating and feels like a cash grab, especially for something as basic as a scale app. I bought the scale to track my progress, not to be bombarded with advertisements. If this isn’t fixed soon, I’ll be looking for alternatives. Avoid this app unless you enjoy being interrupted every time you use it!
