This is the right app to have very up to date on availability if chargers.

Pricing wrong in most cases. Misses out networks of chargers. Why? Some kind of agreement I expect.

Please add Filter by Price and keep up with the price war

This is a great app but misses the key feature of the Petrol Map website it claims to replace for EV drivers: Filter/Plan by price. A tool like this needs a filter by cost. Too many networks charge over the odds for electricity, especially AC chargers at >Energy Price Cap. Options could include: Cost: Contactless Cost: With App Cost: With with subscriptions Cost: less than 65p should be default for ICE cost parity. Tick list for active subscriptions. For route planning: Avoid cost above Xp as an additional filter would be great.

Did not opt-in to any marketing & yet receiving many emails with the added bonus that each email is sent twice, not once. No unsubscribe in any of the emails.

Don’t bother

Tried to connect at each of the points several times. Followed all the instructions and the app took pre-payment. All great until it failed to start the charge 7 times. But still took all the prepayments.

Prices Wrong

To offer an app that shows prices but won’t filter by them is pretty rubbish. Then add in the fact that the prices shown are rarely accurate and it starts to become a farse. The EV industry needs to unite to provide a decent charging network with reliable information. Not impressed by any apps so far.

The algorithm is not ‘real world’

I used Zapmap to calculate a journey from Cheater to Maidstone, which is pretty much all motorway. Zapmap uses an algorithm based on 55MPH. I am NEVER going to drive that slow. I need an algorithm that uses 70 or even 80MPH. I don’t want super efficiency. I don’t need it. I want to get there as quick as the law allows. Please change this Zapmap.

Stealth Charging

Jacjac80 on

United Kingdom

Downloaded the app, cannot ever remember signing up for a free trial ahead of an annual purchase so surprised when I was charged £30 today. Obviously my fault but hard to see how any information in the app is actually worthy of a subscription, most EVs have the functionality to find EV chargers anyway. From an app perspective, it’s basic to say the least, a map and some useless functions such as chat and route finder, wow, absolutely useless.
