Poor UI
1. Often get lost in the app and don’t know how to go back to the meal list page.
2. When you check the meal details and then go back to the meal option list, it cannot remember the day you are looking into and jump to another day. It’s super annoying.
3. Features are organized in a way I still haven’t understand.
Poor UI design.
Hire a legit UX/UI designer to save this app plz
As a UX/UI designer I can’t even tell how frustrated I am with this app… the app is filled up with basic level UX mistakes and random UI decisions. I’ve seen buttons with text not center aligned but few pixels off the center line…Why….??? A junior year college student will present this app as their school project and the teacher will probably be happy about it. But ZeroCater is a startup with actual customers, so plz hire someone legit to design this instead of trying to yank this off by some random person.
Dinged for early delivery
I delivered food for the restaurant I work for and we got dinged for early arrival.
When I got to the drop-off site, I contacted Zero Cater’s OWN ON-SITE DELIVERY SPECIALIST, who gave no indication that my being 5 minutes early would be a problem. She should also be trained not to accept the order until the delivery window. I told her to let me know when she was ready. I would not have marked the food as delivered if she hadn’t given the impression that it was fine to do so. So this company punishes my boss, who then gets angry at me.
These catering apps aren’t even really necessary. Businesses can and should just call restaurants directly and set up the catering. All this app does is leech money from small businesses trying to get their name out there and businesses with so much money it doesn’t matter that they’re paying for something they don’t really need.
Horrible UI
The app gets 1 star for functioning without crashing. But it desperately needs to be redesigned with a better UI.
Bad UI and frustrating user experience
Ordering 2 meals a day using an app should be a quick, simple, and painless exercise. Unnecessary time spent navigating the app adds up. A few suggestions:
- after placing an order and navigating back to main page, calendar should automatically open the folder for the next date (or current date). Right now it seems to go to a random date which is frustrating
- toast for successful orders covers the back button -> cannot navigate out of the page quickly, not efficient
- for each meal, page should show option x of y (1 of 2), so users know how many options they have when swiping left and right
Bad app and food
Worst app ever seen
Poor performance
Cannot handle 100 people access the app at the same time.
bad performance
it failed to work when lots of people use it at the same time
Garbage
Can’t tell what’s worse, the app or the food

App is useless and doesn't even work. Pushes in-app updates. Feels like it might include spyware. How hard is making an app? Especially one that doesn't even bother to use native code. High school me could at least have a working app.
