ZeroPhobia helpt mensen hun vliegangst te overwinnen. ZeroPhobia is ontwikkeld door een team psychologen van de Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam en gebaseerd op uitgebreid wetenschappelijk onderzoek. Het enige wat je nodig hebt is je smartphone, een simpele VR bril, wat tijd, en een beetje toewijding. Het is ons doel om effectieve behandeling simpel, toegankelijk en betaalbaar te maken. Wat je krijgt ZeroPhobia is een complete behandeling om je vliegangst te overwinnen. Zes modules geven je inzicht in de achtergrond van je vliegangst (psycho-educatie), hoe je ermee om gaat, doelen stellen, door moeilijke momenten komen, omgaan met negatieve gedachten, en oefenen met uitdagende situaties. Naast de modules zijn er zeven virtual reality levels waarmee je kunt oefenen met inchecken, wachten op je vlucht, opstijgen, landen, en turbulentie. Tara, ZeroPhobia’s virtuele therapeut, helpt je door het hele programma. Voor wie? ZeroPhobia is bedoeld voor iedereen die last heeft van vliegangst en er iets aan wilt doen. Je kunt ZeroPhobia zelf volgen, in je eigen tijd en in je eigen omgeving. Je hoeft er dus niet de deur voor uit. Onderzoek en wetenschappelijke achtergrond ZeroPhobia is gebaseerd op Cognitieve Gedragstherapie (CGT). Dit type therapie is zeer effectief voor het behandelen van angsten zoals vliegangst. De effectiviteit van ZeroPhobia is recentelijk getest door een team psychologen van de Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in een gerandomiseerde klinische trial (RCT).
