## Zilch Car Sharing Description
We’re committed to eliminating emissions and reducing the number of cars on our roads for a happier, healthier, and more productive New Zealand.

We help organisations implement sustainable fleets and we manage a zero-emission public car share service in Auckland and Christchurch.

With Zilch our on-demand electric vehicles for both business and public are at your fingertips. To sign-up visit www.zilch.nz then open the app to book one of our cars spread throughout Auckland and Christchurch CBD and both airports.

Once you’ve booked a car open the app to scan your car, it’ll open, and you’ll be on your way. Public members pay by the hour or part thereof, you can see your booking estimate upfront before confirming your trip.

Our app is your key to any of our available electric vehicles in any of our locations. For employees of organisations implementing a sustainable fleet, for both client employees and members of the public wanting a sustainable self-drive airport transfer from (or to) the CBD, for commuter subscriptions which are after-hours regular bookings (carpark included) and for anyone needing a car to get anywhere at any time but wants to reduce their own carbon footprint.

## Zilch Car Sharing Reviews in New Zealand

### ***** "Very handy service"
I have used zilch several times now and find it a great service. The weekend rates are very good value for money, the vehicles always in good condition, and the app easy to use for booking vehicles once registered.
-- lcar260, 2025-12-06

### *---- "Just Unusable"
The app is basically non-functional.
You can’t lock / unlock the car, can’t end the trip, can’t edit or cancel your booking, can’t scan the QR code to activate charging at the hub, etc…
-- nightskachu, 2023-12-08

### *---- "App broken"
Tried to sign up on the app and got as far as verifying my ph number and it never sent me the code. Resent multiple times and nothing lol
-- Caityy004, 2023-07-15

### *---- "Waste of time"
I downloaded the app and got my account verified ok. Seemed like a great app and easy service until I actually went to use a vehicle. The app came up with an error every time I tried to unlock a car. I called the support number and they acknowledged that the app basically does not work, but also that I had not been sent an access card which is an alternative to the app.
-- MrWorldwide_Mr305, 2023-01-16

### *---- "Unusable"
Doesn’t stay logged in. Does not show upcoming bookings. Impossible to use (had to book via the website). Map keeps spinning endlessly. Running iOS 15.5
-- D@\/E, 2022-07-12

### *---- "Waste of time"
How to have confidence in a tech company whose App simply does not work? Endless loops that send you nowhere, app does not launch, etc

Simply terrible
-- Neminisnet, 2022-06-25

### *---- "App not working"
The app is super broken. can’t stay logged in once entering credentials and the map keeps glitching and spinning - its going to give me epilepsy I swear.
-- annoyed 13537839057, 2022-06-08

### *---- "Not responding"
First of, I had the Zilch app, used if 5months ago and when I tried to use it now, it told me the app is no longer available on app store? Installed fresh app, sign in, then sign in, then sign in… it doesn’t keep me signed in. Updated iOs and all my apps with the hope it will now work… now it just load till to first screen with a leaf on it. So my experience is that the app is for all practical purposes not a app at all.
