ZINIO is using Apple push notifications to send ads to customers. Seems like this is a violation of the Apple app guidelines section 4.5.3 “Do not use Apple Services to spam, phish, or send unsolicited messages to customers, including Game Center, Push Notifications, etc.”
I paid for a one-year subscription, but it stopped working after two issues. Write to the magazine’s customer service, who forwarded my issue to Zinio. Nothing happened for weeks. Cancelled my subscription and uninstalled the app.

Global selection of good magazines, available even before the paper versions - that rocks! Usability could be better - why do I have to search for titles I frequently buy?
Be careful! Once downloaded its impossible to delete a magazine! If you try it will re-download instantly, eventually flood your iPads memory making it useless! This might very well be the worst app ever written for the iPad!
The simplicity of Zinio is its trademark. Keep that...and you keep your faithful users.
