This app has never really been improved. The main bug that is eternally frustrating is the need to have an internet connection to access the magazines in the downloaded section. So it is impossible to view magazines on a plane, or any other situation where you cannot access the internet.
I have to read ny magazine’s in pdf mode which isn’t bad, but not ideal.

Update: Developer response seems to indicate that i can get hold of Zinio support in regards to my issues.FACT. i already have, if they took time to ACTUALLY read my review. Look at other reviews and their response……..never helpful! Also to turn off adult content , log into your account via a browser. Under Account Settings-Preferences you can “Hide adult content” that might reflect back to the app. Use to a good app but after many updates this is now a joke! Every time theres an update this app just seems to cause problems. Both my iPad and iPhone now will not download my magazines in full. it gets so far through then stops as “download cant complete “ ??? Even after contacting Zinio and going through all options AND supplying them with video they still say no problem! They even resorting to say i have an out of date version of their app when i clearly don't!! even supplied screenshots to prove it!! Support is terrible…. Cancel your subscriptions and look to see if your magazine has a stand alone app. Honestly….id give this app (and company) zero stars if i could
I have one subscription in this app and it's to an outdoor magazine. I have no dodgy browsing history, and yet every time I open the Zinio app my home page has multiple adult magazines on it. Not appropriate in a cafe, at work, or in front of my kids! It makes me not want to open the app! I guess it's quite telling that the number one FAQ in that section is "Where can I find my adult magazines?" Christ, Zinio. Have some discretion and offer a switch to turn on or off adult content!
Why are you selling subscriptions to mags that have been discontinued, lots of download issues over the week, no notification to tell us why
Used to be great now all it does on my iPad is go to screen that shows app loading and that’s all that happens now continuously. Reinstalled app and no change. Lots of issues of magazines I now can’t read easily like I used to enjoy on my iPad. Obviously can’t be bothered as a company to fix obvious issues or bugs it seems. Sort it out
I’ve paid for a subscription and no matter what I do I can’t get the magazine to download. Try getting help! Much better magazine apps so I’m annoyed at getting hooked into this dud.
Crashes on startup... That's all it now does. Was excellent until they decided to 'improve' it.
This is a great way to receive books as they can be stored for future reading. Perhaps it might be better to say this way the older copies can be better stored in a neater fashion than just be stacked on a shelf somewhere. Cheers Derek
